Wrigley Rooftop Seats

Since it's looking more and more like Wrigley is going to happen, I need to start planning my trip. I'm sure it's a long shot, but does anyone have a contact with connections to any of the rooftop viewing around Wrigley? I think it'd be awesome to see one of the shows from the rooftop. Willing to pay good money for seats. Help me out if you have an in. Thanks.
(How 'bout that show last night? Great setlist this year!)

I thought about this option as well. I found three websites from different companies that run the rooftop seating, the only concern I saw is that the seats are designed for baseball you would wanna pay attention to where the stage is to ensure a clear view as well as the sound which shouldn't be much of a problem. The sites are:
www.rooftopbythefirehouse.com
www.3639wrigleyrooftop.com
www.ivyleaguebaseballclub.com
None of these sites mention the concert probably because it isn't official yet but it may make sense to contact them early

keep in mind that these stage for most 'ball park shows' are in the outfield facing home plate...the rooftop seats face home plate...the left field side should be better than the right field side. You can see well from up there, but you can't see the entire field, including the warning track in some spots...and these seats draw quite a premium for prime dates...oh, and if you do buy, plan to get there early...often times these roofs are oversold and you may be standing behind others trying to see...

Also, access to the rooftops is usually sold to large groups, not individuals. When we go to the rooftops for Cubs games, we're usually in a party of 30 or more.
But, my landlord does hook me & my roommate with his buddy's rooftop. We go up by ourselves & just join the party that's up there!

If I change my mind and decide to go to the show, that's probably how I will do it!

The rooftop seats wont be a good place to see the show since the stage will likely face home plate. However the rooftops will be great for pre-concert activities. If I decide to do a rooftop I will certanly want to go into the ballpark to see the show. No matter where you enjoy pre-concert it will be a blast. Personally I would rather spend my money on good seats to the concert rather than money on a pre-concert party. I woudl prefer to enjoy the pre-party festivities in the bars around the ballpark and walkign around.

The rooftop I hang out at is right along the 3rd base line... it's the building right next to the firehouse on Waveland. Therefore, I think it's still in perfect line to see the stage!!! And I wouldn't have to sacrifice my first born to get tickets for inside the ballpark.
That is, if I change my mind and decide to go.

I wondered if you would find this!!! No worries, I highly doubt I will give in and stay in town that weekend, but if my partner in crime really twists my arm... I'm at her mercy. She's told me that she wants to go.

But hey, if that's the case... then you're my right hand man then as I will need you to diffuse my irritation that I'd be watching something other than baseball in Wrigley!
