I watched it with four non-JB believers and after the hour was up even they were like; "cool" and "I think I get it know". I was all smiles....
Great show even though I missed the first hour of the concert
Tampa is calling

I watched it and thought it was a great interview! Jimmy seemed more relaxed than other interviews I've seen him do. Halfway through, my 22 year old son called me up and he too was watching, and just wanted to make sure I was.
It was reassuring to hear Jimmy say he may still be around 10 years from now. So many times in the last couple of years I worried he'd retired. The one good thing about his "nashville" fame is that he opened his horizons to entertaining us longer.

It was a great show and overdue. It showed the depth of his fan base and how his flock is growing. 30 million a year, sold out venues everytime, number one best sellers, CD's, stores, boats, planes, he has it all, if the average viewer saw the program, then they have a feel for what it is all about. I'm glad to see a positive story for a change.

saw it and loved it. I wish Jimmy would do his own documentary on flying. My Dad and I are in awe of his flying adventures, planes and would love to hear stories about each one and see more plane footage! We'd even settle for more fly fishing stories! C'mon Jimmy.....if not a documentary, how about a book with photos!
We are so into the music, concerts and stories connected to that but we'd sure like to hear more of the flying and fishing stories!
Thanks CMT and CBS for more Jimmy. Great interview.

My dad enjoyed the Columbus show last year. Both he and Mom got compliments on their hats and Hawaiian shirts.fruityparrothead wrote:My parents (mind you I'm 41) watched it...then called me to let me know that DAD wants to go see JB!!!!
He may be the "newbie" next week....

You mean that there's more to it than showing up the day of the show after wearing a groove in your Yellow Album CD; drinking until you can't stand; and screaming "Freebird" during the encore?wanderingtoes wrote:It was a great show and overdue.
