Jimmy is totally disgusted with the beach balls

It really has become a gong show. Jimmy almost snapped last night when the fifth beach ball nearly hit him in the face. I've seen JB at Tinley and Alpine every season over the last five years and I've never seen him so disgusted with the beach balls as he was last night.

That's too bad! We were going to buy a beach ball for Jax, but maybe we shouldn't. Course we'll be in the nosebleed section (rowHH), so our beachball would never reach him. But if we drop a dime, we might kill someone on the floor!
He seemed to enjoy the beach balls in Columbia, even though one hit Michael Utley in face. Actually, he really enjoyed that one.

I enjoy the beach balls before the show...they give you something to do while waiting for the show to begin. Once Jimmy is on stage, the balls are just a distraction, and I don't understand why folks feel the need to toss them up on stage throughout the concert.

I recall hearing him make some negative comments during the show Thur night
after he got bipped by a beer-soaked ball....

That's the one that hit Mr. Utley. He said something like, "You didn't like that smiley-faced ball, did you, Mike? There was beer on that ball. We don't know where that smiley-faced ball has been. Uh oh, I don't know where I'm going with this. Someone help me out here..."

I agree the beach balls on the stage during the concert have gotten out of control. Let's keep the balls to ourselves (in the audience) where they belong! No more busting balls at concerts!! We need more Junior Mints!!!

Thanks for recognizing the attempt...
Unless you were being sarcastic. In that case, I'll go back to lurking!

I'd have to agree about the beach balls. I hate having to focus my attention on balls flying instead of the show. Don't get me wrong, I love them before the show but during, not so much.

I agree...the beach balls need to stay on the ground once Jimmy hits the stage.

Last year at Alpine Valley. My phriends and I saw a guy with 2 $6 beers walking down the steps. When a beach ball knocked one out of his hand. $6 for a beer! He didn't look too happy

I felt bad. Thats why I drink as much as I can before the show.

That's funny! I've gone to concerts with mini-boxes of Junior Mints tied on my grass skirt and thrown them as treats to people sitting around us.
One year I did that for the show at Tinley in Chicago, but it turned out to be a huge mess with temps in the 90's.
I, do agree with Jimmy, the beach balls are a nuisance, especially when you get hit in the head by one unexpectedly.

I could DEFINITELY live w/out the beach balls. They add to the atmosphere if you're just looking around walking in, but I hate watching out for them (even before the concert.) We're usually like the old lady next door that would keep your ball; we've been putting them under the chairs the past couple of years. Sorry guys!

There not gonna kill anyone, and how hard does a beachball have to hit you to knock a beer out of your hand?
But I do agree about no BBalls on the stage during the concert

In Charlotte last year, he got hit right in the face as soon as he walked out. He didn't look to happy.

Are you suffering from Premature Beach Ball Syndrome

last year at the Tampa show people were spiking beach balls as if it were a volleyball tournament.
Actually it's just a few bad apples.
I'm okay with the balls as long as they're up in the air instead of spiked right at your grill.
One time I was so mad when one hit me that I grabbed it and jammed my thumbs into it.
I'm lucky I was not mobbed
