Nadirah has such a powerful beautiful voice as well demonstrated when she did Respect last year. I'd love to her more of the Coral Reefers do their own things too. Heck, we're paying to see them too.

I love you Jimmy, don't get me wrong. But it's a package deal.

It's bad enough hearing the song without Fingers.
THANK YOU!!
I coulnd't agree more!

Well, mermaid, did you make that happen in Jacksonville, or was that the real Nadirah with Jimmy and Mac again?

I did vote for just Mac and Jimmy in the poll, but last night it sounded so good I would have changed my vote...yes, I'm a Libra.

What high aspirations you have...go for it, mermaid!

Hey Mermaid, just get quoted in a newspaper the day of or before the concert saying your greatest dream in life is to sing on stage with Jimmy Buffett. It worked for Stan the Man in Columbia. You can hear JB on the live album before Pascagoula Run saying "I've been reading about y'all." Then he invites Stan on stage to sing Margaritaville WITH him! That was two years ago. I talked to Stan and a friend of his about how that felt, before last Thursday's concert in Columbia. His friend, a nice lady from Greenville, said it was a real treat, being backstage with Jimmy. She says she reads BuffettNews.com, and I told her she should come on here and tell us all about it. :) :) :) Anyway, it can happen! Dreams do come true...

On topic here, I like Nadirah's singing her part, altho I had to get used to it. What I REALLY miss is the boat bells chiming in, as in "Like a man just released from indenture, Ching Ching!"

In on SOASOAS

She is good for that song but I could do without her on Margaritaville screaming SALT....at least I think it is her. Otherwise she does have a beautiful voice and she is a hottie.

I think there's a woman in Portland, Oregon that may be able to help you out on that. What was her name...Tanya Harding???? :o

"The Lovely Miss Nadirah Shakoor"
She makes SOASOAS outstanding.
But sometimes there's a bit too
much of her (like the wailing toward
the end of Back to the Island).
JMHO
