I'd be willing to bet if your kid was almost hit be one of these morons you would be uptight too. We just cast at them. Treble hooks are really hard to get out of Neoprene vests.
Oh, I see, I'm supposed to watch where I'm going, just because you decided to breed. Nice...

Actually, my only real experience with them comes from the river where I have my camper. It's about a 3 mile strech of navigable water, most of us have boats and PWCs, and we all know each other. It's not difficult to know when you can act up and when you need to be more careful. If there are people fishing, swimming, tubing, etc...you just go up or down river if you wanna screw around. If somebody (usually someone who doesn't have a site in the area) is doing something they shouldn't, they are told about it pretty quickly. It works for us...

The lake we go to is only about 10 miles from town. Weekends are really busy. When the temps are in the 100's everyone is up there. I think the biggest problem with PWC is that they are entry level. This means people who have no idea what to do on the water are the primary owners. This leads to problems.

I dunno about that. I paid a hell of alot more for the PWC than I did for the boat. But then again, the boat is a real piece of...er...um...work. Yeah, that's it...

Nice, willingly intend to injure them  You think they act like a$$holes so you feel it's OK for you to as well.

I agree that there are many irresponsible riders but most irresponsilbe ones are either a) young people who pretty much think everything revolves around them and they probably act the same way while driving their cars or b) people who have rented them and have never taken a class on their operation (Wisconsin is currently working on a law that would require a class if you were to rent)
Is it day?

once had a PWC come up from behind and scoot between the albatross's prop and hull while we were starting our takeoff. startled the s*** out of all of us on board and would have been a real miss if the prop had hit him or the PWC. 11' dia prop bolted onto 1450 hp...

and what really p*** me off is legally he has the "right-of-way"

I'd feel bad for you, but I have no soul.....

That's just natural selection in action.

Still don't have all the facts. It's still just a really ugly case of he-said-she-said. It sounds like it went beyond badmouthing their products. Their owner and some employees came under personal attack. Even so, it doesn't sound like any moderators or PWC Today employees joined in any of the bashing. By not deleting some of the posts, they are alleged to have enabled the slander like AF said.

Dittto! I paid a lot more for the PWC than for the boat, also! Not all of us are bad, but I have seen the ones that are. In Ohio, if you were born after a certain year (80 or 81 maybe) you are required to take a safe boating course before operating ANY watercraft. We have a place on the lake, so I have seen my fair share of idiots going 60 through the channel weaving in and out of the boats. Those same ones are going 60 in the marinas! But, please don't say we are all losers!!!!
