On January 29th I replied to a topic "What songs would you like to hear in concert?" and on February 17th I attended the show in Columbia. I noticed one major similarity between my post and the show. In the post I listed that I wanted to hear Pirate Looks at Forty with just JB and Mac and it was done as the last encore. Now, I'm not saying that Jimmy just did it for me, but what are the chances that something like that would happen? I guess this just eggs on the question, Does Jimmy read buffettnews.com? Here's the entire post if you'd like to read it.

Considering he and Mac have performed it that way before I would say it wasn't that unusual. As for him reading BuffettNews, I think it's a pretty good bet that he does.

Yeah he really loves people, especially his phriends and phans. a couple of years ago at the portland concert for far side of the world tour, we sat in a section behind the stage, (most of the concert his back was to us). as he was exiting the stage for the intermission, i yelled "JOLLY MON!!!" cause i knew that it wasn't on the setlist. anyway, when he came back after intermission, he got up on the mini platform that is built right in front of our seats, but is still behind the stage. he sang Jolly Mon first and then a couple of other songs after before he went back to the main stage.
so for our really cheap behind the stages seating, jb was only like ten feet away. while down in the front people paid like $100s for there seats and they were further from him.
I thought that was cool that he came up on the little stage for the one phan (and ultimately for the other phans near us too...i dont wanna be selfish).
i could see his toes, lol.
