I mean 20-30 for the worst seats in the house, I would say 40-60 for the first level and probably 80 for the field.
I'll be paying $128 for Philly...so long as my presale order doesn't get booted.
Yes sir! And we've got relatively decent seats as I recall..
Seats are good...other than I have to sit with a bunch of morons...
I'm not thrilled about it either ya shmuck!

Ticket prices are getting out of hand these days. I just spent 68.50 for a balcony ticket for Van Morrison!

Just wondering though, has anything been said about other acts playing as well? If Jimmy has a multiple act show, all day kinda thing, the prices may not be all that bad. If it looks like he's playing stadiums, I'd think there would be a few acts on the bill.

It's all about demand in the marketplace, kids.
You get more fans on board with the help of sites like this :o , you create a demand for larger venues to accommodate all these new fans (Jimmy playing Gillette Stadium?? yuk :-? ), you have no problem asking for more of the fan's money 'cuz, hey, we ALL wanna see Jimmy, right? Those with the most dough get to be closest to the show! It's the American way!! :D :) :-? :-? :( :x

Well, for 5.00 you can sit in my office and listen on the net. Just don't peek out the window or I'll have to have the cat escort you out.

And those are the "face value" prices... the $86 tix come out to $100 after a $14 fee, the $126 tix come out to $140. That is pretty steep.

I put a huge dent on my Visa today :o

Supersized Venues & Biggie Prices

Oh come on folks, after seeing the "new" list of supersized venues that JB is playing - plus the new "biggie" ticket prices - isn't it clear that he is giving the bronx-cheer to his loyal fans?!

I mean, let's be a little objective and candid here -- ever since he won that Country Music Award a year or so ago, his traditional venues have been going by the wayside in favor of larger arenas, and now mega-stadiums.

If you doubt what I am saying, go back to the Far Side of the World tour schedule and look for yourself. Do I lie?

The most I've ever paid was $250 on ebay for a pair of "reserved" lawn seats at Great Woods. Know what? After 9 hours of tailgating, the show was worth every penny. Those 9 hours go by too damn fast though.

That said, anything over $100 face value is kinda ridiculous for any act unless you're sitting on the stage.

True about the face value. I paid 150 for suite seats for last years Columbia show.(behind the freakin stage!!!) and I gotta say, the 9 hour tailgate was the best ever and the show was awesome dispite the price paid.

Charlotte was my first JB show, and I'll admit it was the most I had paid for a concert. However, I thought it was worth every penny. I loved the show and would pay that much or even a little bit more to see him again. However, economically, that's hard for me to do. I still think he's worth it, even if I can't afford to go often.

$128 ($140 after fees) for awesome seats in San Jose. I hate the shark tank, but I have been spoiled over my 25 years of shows. The Greek Theatre in Berkley, The Concord Pavillion (pre-renovation), Shoreline Amphitheatre, and of course who can for get the famous Freddy and the Fishstick shows at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz and The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. Those were the days!!! But at least the Shark Tank has the flying shark, it somewhat makes up for the horrible sound. Jimmy if you are listening, when in California, stay outdoors.
