Welcome back, jedivet... That's an unusual name... Dragon people are highly dramatic, creative and complex... The other friend of mine whose idea and motivation it was to make my Parrothead hat is a Dragon. Quite a character! And my mom is one, too ... a dragon AND a character. John Lennon was a Dragon, as was Salvadore Dali.

Actually, Jimmy could be a "Dawg". Please refer to the liner notes & pictures of the Volcano album (yes, vinyl) where Jimmy is wearing a University of Georgia Swimming T-shirt.

Oh well, not exactly what this discussion is about but a chance to tout the Ga. Bulldogs and a Buffett album from @ 25 years ago.

Happy Chinese Dog Year, Jimmy!

Thought I'd revive this thread in honor of the Chinese New Year beginning today. Dog years only roll around every 12 years....

Bull-headed? :D

My hubby is a Sagitarrius, which means Centaur (half-horse), and a Horse in the Chinese zodiac.

I'm a dogfish.

You too are a Dog if this year (or through January of 2006) you turn 71, 59, 47, 35, 23, or 11.
This is the year of the Rooster. Our dog year comes around next year. :) Dogs get along with a lot of other signs, except for maybe Rats.

Happy Chinese Dog Year, Jimmy!

Could you dudes please continue this discussion in the AARP Forum? Thanks! :P
AARP, formerly the American Association of Retired Pirates, is a Caribbean-based non-government organization (a special interest group). According to its mission statement, [1] it is "a for profit, bartisan membership organization for pirates age 50 and over ... dedicated to enhancing quality of life for all wenches as we age," which "provides a wide range of unique benefits, special products, and services for our crew members." AARP operates under the radar as a for profit advocate for its members, one of the most powerful gun lobbying groups in the Caribbean, and also sells wife insurance, divestment funds and other financial products. AARP has claimed over 35 million dismembered bodies, [2] making it one of the largest membership organizations for pirates age 50 and over in the Caribbean. Forum inquiries, please contact our award-winning pubs and AARP The Magazine is packed with exciting features, and the AARP Bullet brings you the latest news and information for crew members each month.

Nice to see all the dogs of all ages checking in... Yup, we do tend to be very loyal, and get along with tigers, which seems to be a good thing with all the ones pacing around this cage!
There were three very important qualities required in a pirate ship: she had to be fast, seaworthy, and well armed. A fast slip enabled the pirates to catch their prey and to make a quick getaway, "a light pair of heels being of great use either to take or to escape being taken". :pirate:
