Phin Power for My Sweet Melissa

Hey everyone! I'm hoping ya'll could send some good thoughts to my friend Melissa. She is my bestest girlie friend here in Colorado and she's the only person I know, besides my family, who knew me before I started having babies and all that stuff.

Melissa is a beautiful young lady (I'll see if I can't find a picture) and I hope she doesn't hate me for posting this, but she suffers from Crohn's Disease. It's not a terminal illness of any sort, but it is a life-long illness that subjects your digestive organs to a true hell.

She has not been in remission for over 2 years. Although sometimes she feels great...mostly she feels pretty crappy. What's worse, is she's only 27 years old and has putting up with this since before she was a teenager.

The poor gal just needs a break.

EDIT: Oh yeah...I completely forgot to add that this is also PHAW and Happy Shark's cousin and she was the maid-of-honor at my wedding!!!

Sending much love her way. I also have a friend with Crohn's and she's been having a really rough time now for 6 years. This is no friendly disease.

Please help revvvvvv this up for my Lissy!!!! She needs all the love she can get right now! I'm still trying to find the thread with a picture in it from my wedding. If not, I'll send a copy to someone who can host it.

Yes she is a sweetie and I'll even admit to being old and saying I've known her since she was 7 years old!! She's been through a lot health wise but always remains sweet and upbeat!!!! Here's more phin power 'cuz it does work!!!!
