Now if they can just find a way to stop the bassards from re-selling Ticketbastard tickets.

We can take pictures of black holes trillions of miles away, and they can't find a way to stop these price gougers.

Sometimes though, it's the only way to get tickets.

The problem is not people buying tickets and reselling them. In Georgia (like many other states) it is NOT illegal to scalp tickets. I'll be the first to admit that there are some events where buy tickets with the sole purpose of reselling them. This used to be quite lucrative, but now its not worth doing unless its a huge event or prime seats.

I got $700 for four Bristol tickets and will get around $1000 for the night race tickets. I pay less than $100 oer ticket. So, I can't really criticize the scalpers here.
Why, that would be hypocritical of me!!!

Same here. Last August someone offered me $500 a piece when I stepped out of the car.
Much to the dismay of many other BNers, I sold two tickets to last year's Dallas show and it paid for my whole trip (tickets, airfare, and hotel).
People that have problems with it are those that don't know how to get the tickets in the first place. I don't have all the power that brokers and scalpers have, but I manage to get tickets.

But like I said, in Georgia, its only illegal if you are selling them directly on the venue's property.
