The drinks at the Jamaica Margaritaville in Ocho Rios were good. The one in the airport not so much so, but the atmosphere was nice. Going to New Orleans next week, will report on that restaurant when I get back!

I listened online to their last report meeting and there was a very positive report for the CBIPs so far. They have tried to put them in Chi Chi's Mexican Food ...great locations which were always close to Carrabas, etc.
Outback has bought out 76 Chi Chi locations in the chain.

Seems Chi Chi's were close to bankruptcy due to hepatitis outbreak in PA.
I am always amazed at what the golden boy seems to get into next. I just wish Krispy Kreme would have
FAIRED
better.

I've only been to one CIP, but the drinks were excellent...as was the food and the presentation. The total aura of it was great. It WAS before the Buffett concert in Indianapolis and the Nace Bros probably made it that much more fun.
DRINKS really impressed me. Service was excellent.
The Margaritaville drinks have never impressed me. They just don't seem to be as special, unless you ask them to prepare a special drink for you and tell them what you want in it. Sometimes you get charged double the price for those added shots, but what the heck...it's usually vacation time.
Lulu's has excellent drinks! The Jet Ski Killer is an excellent BLUE drink.

The main bar at Lulu's is huge and right in the middle of everything. She has done a great job.
I can't wait to go to Myrtle Beach Margaritaville to try
everything out!
Captain P, hoping for the best for ya...where will you be?

Yeah, I 'm somewhat familiar with the whole Chi-Chi's thing (we represent them in the hepatitis cases). I did not even think of CIPs moving into the closed stores...what a great idea.

The whole Chi Chi's thing is sad indeed.
I guess the Outback purchase was good for both!!
Why no CIP in NYC!

You'd think that with the greatest concentration of JB fans in terms of sheer numbers being in the immediate NYC area (my wife read that somewhere), there would be a CIP somewhere in NYC..but there is not! Anybody know/guess why?

Brookfield, WI.
By the way, tomorrows interview has been rescheduled to next week. The guy I'm meeting with forgot about his wife's birthday tomorrow...
