Anyone know what seating will be like for PNC? Will they be putting seats on the field? Will there be some type of "lawn section?" - and what about behind the stage? I'm sure Jane loves it, but I don't want to look at Jimmy's butt all night. :D

The stage will be set up in center field facing home plate. There wont be many, if any, seats behind it because there are only a limited number of bleacher seats out there. Plus the bullpen and a grassy area take up some room too. There's an Outback restaurant that sits up a little higher than the bleachers do.... they may be open for seating- I dont know. Could be some seats in the right field area though. Dont know how the sound will be, but the view will be incredible. The Pittsburgh skyline across the river, and Jimmy on stage will rock !!! I would rather see him at Starlake, but the upside is...it wont take me nearly as long to get home from PNC.

Here's how it was for Springstein: If this doesn't work, just copy and paste it.... Okay...my 4th edit; you have to use the drop down menu from standard to Springstein (only other concert?)...

Here is next "Monday's Press Release"

Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band

June 26, 2005 - 6:00 PM EST

On Sale March 12, 2005 - 10:00AM

Pittsburgh, PA (March 7, 2005) – Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer Band will make their Pittsburgh appearance this summer at PNC Park. The date for this grand slam event is Sunday, June 26th, at 6pm. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, March 12th at 10am at www.Tickets.com or by calling 1-877-848- 4099. Tickets are also on sale at the PNC Park box office on Saturday, March 12th only.

Following the success of his best selling novel, A Salty Piece of Land, and #1 record, License to Chill, Jimmy Buffett makes his always much-anticipated return to the Pittsburgh area. This summer, Buffett will turn PNC Park into a tropical paradise. Buffett concerts are far from the normal show - they are Mardi Gras, New Year’s Eve, and Carnival all wrapped into one spectacular night. Buffett's audience, affectionately called Parrotheads, many of whom are professionals by day, turn into colorful, tropical, outrageously-outfitted characters at night when Jimmy comes to town.

Jimmy's newest CD, License To Chill, which debuted at #1 on both the Pop and Country charts, was the first number one record of his career. The collection, which features duets with some of country’s biggest stars including Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, George Strait and Martina McBride among others, spent 15 weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard Country Albums Chart, and has been certified Platinum by the RIAA. Jimmy's newest novel, A Salty Piece Of Land, was released November 30, 2004. The New York Times has said it 'is very possibly Buffett's best work to date.' With Jimmy's three previous No. 1 bestsellers, Tales From Margaritaville, Where Is Joe Merchant? and A Pirate Looks At Fifty, he is one of only six authors in the history of the New York Times Bestseller List to have reached #1 on both their fiction and non-fiction lists. A Salty Piece Of Land has been on the New York Times Bestseller List since its release.

Doors open 4:00 PM

$86.00 and $46.00 reserved each, plus applicable venue and ticket service charges. Buy on-line, phone 877-848-4099 or at the PNC Park box office on March 12 only.

Purchase a copy of #1 best-selling author Jimmy Buffett's latest book 'A Salty Piece of Land'.

Listen to Radio Margaritaville to get in the mood for a great concert at Pittsburgh's PNC Park.

Amen to that. At least TM can handle some volume, sometimes you do get what you pay for.

It is wierd that the cheapest were 86 when the information said that the tickets were going down to 46 for some seats.

and since their seat map is down its tough to guess where the FLR sections are...if they are the small sections you can see around the field, its not worth $126 for me to sit there...

It looks like all seats are 86 or 126 and there will be no 46 seats since the 300's are the highest seats in teh stadium
