Gibby wrote:Thanks! They are great seats. Does anyone know if this presale was for all of us regular folks or just Pittsburgh fans (i.e. is there a chance the sales won't go through)?

The email I got was addressed to 'buffett fans who have bought seats online before'...heck, I live in IL if that helps...I think the orders will go through...

That makes me feel much better. We're Ravens/Orioles fans here. For these seats I'd have to fake liking the Steelers!

since I didn't get seats in the first 5 rows, I won't make this trip for a Sunday night...hopefully they'll be a non-season ticket holder presale for wrigley and can get any of the seats I pulled up today...

Pittsburgh Show

Does anyone have or know what the seating chart will look like. PNC Park only has baseball seating, not concert.

Thanks.

Yeah, thanks to our awesome tipsters!

I'll put in a plug for a great little hotel. Just booked my room, same place as last year:

Comfort Inn
4770 Steubenville Pike
Pittsburgh, PA1
15205
Phone: (412) 922-7555

It's new and not "close to the action" so it's pretty quiet and doesn't have its own bar/restaurant, but it's only about 6 miles from downtown. I noticed a number of Parrotheads there last year. (I can't justify the downtown prices, myself -- and this one is close to I-79 and for $76.50 includes breakfast and jacuzzi tub!)

If it's through tickets.com I HIGHLY doubt us non season ticket holders will get rejected because this is a third party tickiting agency, almost like ticketmaster. So i dont believe they will be checking, or even have the ability to.

I have 8 seats in Sec 8 row A i hope they are using the Springsteen map. I called clear channel head office 1(412-562-9900) and they said they dont have a seating map right now call back this afternoon. But i really hope it s the springsteen cause I have over $1000.00 worth of tickets it s a risk but i hope it will pay off for me if anybody gets any confirmation that this is the set up there using please P.M ME. THanks Cheers and see you all there

If the Wrigley shows happen, I think jiggs(2) may be drinking for free the whole weekend. Thanks for helping out with the password, we owe you big time.

Yikes! The cheap seats are 46 bucks??? Between the change of venue and the price hike, this may be the first show in 11 years I take a pass on. :-?

Under normal circumstances I would agree. But when I pulled sixth row center, hey, just this once I can justify shelling out the bucks. :)

I Just called a friend of mine that works at PNC Park and he told me that the seating chart is not the same as springsteen. He is going to e-mail me the seating chart and I will post it as soon as I get it.
