I just tried to get back in and was told my password was invalid. Are all pre-sales gone, or did they change passwords? I sure hope it's the same floor seating as Bruce.( FLR7-ROW-B) :pirate:

according to clear channel the seating chart is simular to the springsteen show call them at 1(412-562-9900) and they will locate your tickets for you sections 3-11 are at the front 7 and 8 being center. That is what the lady told me. SHe also told me it was Jimmy's choice to play PNC they much rather had him play The post gaz. Pav. Any way s hope that this helps you for now P.N.C park said the will post the seating chart online within the next few days along with the official anouncement.

Now that everyone has tickets I wonder what the parking lots will be like. I've gone to every steeler game for the last 5 years and they only open the parking lots 4 - 5 hours before game time. Pirates games are a little different b/c they play during the week alot and the lots are open for people who work in the city. Being that this is a sunday show I would expect them to run the lots alot like steeler games. 25 bucks a spot, you'll need two spots for RV's ($50) and only open 4-5 before the show. Pirates games are much cheaper like 7-15 bucks for parking. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Help!

I just saw this thread. I tried to sort through it to figure this out, but what's the deal? Was this a special deal for a limited # of seats? Is it still on? When do tickets "really" go on sale. PNC Park that is incredible.

Someone hinted at this before... but I wonder if that's his intention? He's either out to make rediculous amounts of cash or he's trying to hit a certain clientelle.

I mean, would you go to a show, get completely smashed and be a total a**hole if you were making that kind of investment?

This is going to cost me a small fortune to come down from Buffalo, stay 2 nights at the Omni and miss a day or 2 of work but this is going to be a mini-vacation and the 26th is our wedding anniversary. So to us, it's all going to be worth it.

I don't think the cheaper seats were included in the presale. Everyone I know who got them got either $126 or $86 seats.

So can anyone in the Pittsburgh area offer advice on hotels? Is the traffic/parking situation such that I can stay at a place away from the Park and spend the extra money on various tailgating necessities? Or do you recommend shelling out the bucks (heck, already did it for the tickets--why stop now! ) for a closer hotel?

I have been gone all day....

The seats I got in Section 2 are in teh Section 2 in Purple which is risen up off the floor. This is better than the back of the floor since I can see over the top of them and not be on the same plane so for $86 that was a HECK of a deal for teh seats I got.

There are a few hotels close to PNC, but most of the hotels are out towards the airport. Would be about a 6- 10 mile drive. If I had to get a hotel, I'd spend the extra cash and stay downtown. No driving involved and lots of good partying. During Pirate games, the city closes down the Clemente bridge to traffic. Just pedestrians allowed. I'm pretty sure they will do this for JB.The lots all over the North Shore will be jumping with tailgates. Heck...ya already spent a kings ransom for tix- might as well spend some more and stay downtown and enjoy all that Pittsburgh has to offer.Lots of good bars right around the stadium, and even more over on the "south side". They might even be running the Gateway Clipper fleet from there to PNC. For those of you that have never been to PNC Park...just wait till you see how impressive the city's skyline looks from the stadium...it's a very cool sight...and it will be even cooler with Jimmy playing in centerfield !!

i agree, there are thousands of hotel rooms in pgh within walking distance, it is a much better idea than staying out in the suburbs

i'm pretty sure some people paying $86 - $128 will be nice and drunk for this show..maybe even a couple people from this board ;) my reason for saying it, is the same for a lot bands that i like that are getting on in years and have no problem charging extra and extra for shows every year. i thought $40+ for lawn seats last year were too much but i did it for the tradition and its worth it. now if i can get some $46 300 level seats, i won't be complaining. but $86 is just too rich for my blood. hopefully they'll release some "cheap" seats when they are on sale next weekend.

They have been building a Springhill Suites right across from PNC Park , it is to open in Mid March. It is a little pricey but if you want to walk out of the show and be at your room it is the place to be. I spent enough money on tickets WHAT THE HELL LETS MAX OUT THE CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!www.marriott.com/springhill

You Want the North Shore Location On Federal st
