T MINUS 2 DAYS - OVERVIEW WITH UPDATES

Hotline
The Hotline Number is 214-512-9439. The recording will be updated with our location on Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday. Please call the Hotline first and resort to the phone list if you have trouble finding us.

Saturday
The Saturday Pre-Party is at Margarita Mama's in Station Square; 4pm - ??
http://www.steelcityfins.org/images/preparty.jpg

Sunday
We'll start at Station Square Sunday morning. If needed, big hat carmen will transport coolers from Station Square to PNC. The deadline to have your cooler at Station Square is 10AM on Sunday. You can also bring them to Station Square on Saturday night if you like.

We’ll head to fanvan's tailgate party ** via the Gateway Clipper or floating tube ride *. The policy specifies that NO COOLERS are allowed on board the Gateway Clipper. My understanding is that you can buy 6-packs of beer from local bars and take them with you.

* I'm bringing a wetsuit bag full of lazy river tubes for a possible float party. If conditions are suitable and we can find a boat to pull us at idle speed, we will float along the river to PNC. There are 6 single tubes and 2 double tubes in the bag. Space is limited to 9-10 people (unless you bring your own tube).

** Fanvan is bringing an RV and tailgating in one of the General Lots.
Everyone is invited! (BYOB)
Call the hotline on Sunday for the location (214-512-9439)

*** Station Square is having a Parrothead Party from 1PM to 5PM the day of the concert.
http://www.stationsquare.com/ParrotHeadParty.htm

*** The Gateway Clipper Fleet will run shuttles from Station Square to PNC Park starting at 11AM.
They are having a boat party at the PNC dock starting at 12PM;

What time is everyone planning on going to Margarita Mama’s tomorrow? We’re going to arrive in Pitt around 3pm and will be ready to put a few down, fo sho!! Since I’ve never met any of you – here’s a quick description of what I look like – I’m pretty short plus I have short dark hair, dark rimmed glasses, floral earrings (not sure what else I’m going to be wearing yet! That may be it with enough drinks in me! JK!!). I can’t wait to meet everyone!

We get to the airport at noon, hitting the Incline for lunch, checking into the hotel, getting to the party around 3-4PM...

I've got dinner reservations downtown at 7PM, but other than that we'll be at Station Square...

I won't be able to get our cooler for drop off by 10am, but now I'm thinkin I drop it in the river underneath the Roberto Clemente bridge attached to a lobster buoy for pick up at a later time....Maybe the armada can aim for it as they tube toward the show, although with all the pirates in the area my riches may be pillaged..:)

I've heard Primanti Brothers Restaurant is a must-do in Pittsburgh. There's a 24-hour location downtown but they've got one at PNC as well;
http://www.primantibros.com/

We might check it out before getting on the shuttle back to Station Square...

I hope you all have fun at the show on Sunday. I am going through Buffett withdrawals right now. It's been 2 days since my last buffett show... Anyway, enjoy the day! Oh, and if you run into Stan the camera man in the parking lot or Rich the sound guy behind the sound board, make sure to tell them that Tracy from GreatWoods says hi. Oh, and say hi to Native Wayne for me too! Wish I could be there... I'll have to wait for the Philly show....
