Hasn't he said he was on the track team in high school? I knew we had something in common. Before I got old, fat, out of shape and became a complete degenerate I ran track too.

Since I graduated from high school 35 years ago, yes. Back then we didn't wear shorts that came down to just above our ankles. But no, I don't wear them anymore. That's something the public should not be subjected to. :o

Jimmy as Sport Star

Post by Goodman »

We know JB's rep as a solid basketball player but I see him as a boxer. Maybe match him with Hilary Swank. Put my do re mi on Swank. :-)
I know Jimmy Buffett, Jimmy Buffett is a friend of mine. Son, you're no Jimmy Buffett!

Perhaps teak?

Might have to ask someone else about that. I have no idea how to compare Larry Lumber's attractive weathering 'cause there are certain skills I'll never have. :D

The artical compared each muscian to a player or team for a reason. So I will follow that suit and say Jimmy is the Red Sox. Tried really hard. Never really won in the playoffs. All though most recently came out the big winners.

Arnold Palmer--He had Arnie's Army and was always smiling and enjoying his job, played and designed golf courses, businessman, family man

Don Shula comes to mind...player coach multitalented, restaurant, benevolent

NAH, it was joke all right, but he was running away from the Jesuit priests! Thought everyone knew that... :D
"Just a choir boy, covering his a$$" When he sings that I always picture him in a choir robe and track shoes, running with his little hands on his little behind. :o
