I'll be there before noon. I got "Tailgate Parking" passes from New Era. Traveling all the way from Cherry Hill (a whole 15-20 minutes)!

do you know for sure when the lots open up. I also have tailgate parking passes and wanna get there early but don't wanna burn out before the show. seeing my first buffett concert from under a car wouldn't be much fun.

I've talked to New Era a few times and have no DEFINITE answer as to the lot opening time. The key really is to PACE yourself. Take a beer and walk around the lots. Bring lots of food (not just snacks) to keep you going through the day. And even after all of this, don't be suprised if you only remember a few of the songs from the show.
Where are you in Jersey?

Were coming from Howell with 8 people who have never been to a Buffett concert at all... Including my wife and two sons 12 & 16 who are totally phsyced. Don't ask me but they love JB, maybe it was the constant playing of his music in the car or our trips to St John. They love to hear "While the light of St Thomas about 20 miles west".

I was supposed to have Sect 105 Row 7 and ended up getting Field J, Row 11 because 105 is now totally obstructed. Hey, at least I'm in the stadium.

same here, i just got my tickets last week after much time sweating it out. I thought i threw them out for looking like junk mail. especially since i got my parking passes about a month ago, wheeeew. I also had section 105 and they sent me seats in section 122 behind home plate. it's alot farther away from the stage and i hope they take the net down for the show or it would s***. Ditto i guess i am in the stadium so that's a plus.

I've read so many horror stories about newera and people either waiting forever to get their tickets, being repositioned, not being able to order them to begin with, I guess I'm counting myself real lucky I didn't have any real problems. I got a couple of page errors when I tried to order, but was able to muddle through, and as of right now, I'm only waiting on a tailgating ticket for Saturday's show, but everything else is in hand. I feel for those who got reassigned seats. Sometimes an 'obstructed' view is not really all that obstructed. You'd think they would have tried to contact people first.
But that's a good way of looking at things, at least you're there.

I was at the Wachovia Center last night for the Phantoms game, on the board where they show coming attractions, there is a show there on 8/27, somebody I've not heard of, but boy, will that crowd be in for a surprise when they pull into the lots.

Are they allowing anyone for the show to park over in those lots? I know the tailgating ticket says Lots M and N, and I think the other parking tickets are for lots around there. Not sure, though.
