Not all of the country said no to left wing... There's a thin line between 49/51

And Jeb's not that great... look at our educational system... one of the worst in the country.
Any man who puts Glenda Hood (Former mayor of Orlando) as Secretary of State is nuts. She ruined the heart of Orlando... entertainment. Running all the watering holes out of town, shutting down tattoo parlors... yeah, you can think Orlando is nothing but theme parks and 6 foot mice, but there's plenty of hardworking people here who can't live on min. wages paid by the parks.

I'd cast my vote for Jimmy.

Hell, I might just write him in come election day for sh!ts and grins.

No.. wait... DonnaKay for governer!
You're right not all of the country said no to left wing nut jobs. But who cares what the Northeast and Caliussia have to say anyway???

It should be noted that Pirate doesn't live in FL. His home state, Tennessee, does have a great governor by the way (I used to live there).

The problem with Jeb, as well as brutha W, is that they let their personal morals and beliefs affect their decisions. Oh..and they're morons too (no, I'm not a democrat either).

BUt Jimmy would not be the solution. I don't know all of his stances, but from what I've seen, his liberal views would not be good for this country.

Judging by your signature line, didn't your state go for Kerry? Not trying to stir the pot, just pointing out that it was close all over the country. Kerry got over 40% of the South Carolina vote, and we still had the confederate flag on the State House until a few years ago! The whole country is bitterly divided, not just the states that people on the right like to think of as full of "Left-Wing Nut-Jobs" or the states that those on the left like to say are full of "Right-Wing Wackos."

Not divided as it seems, I think. I knew quite a few die-hard republicans who voted for Kerry (actually, against Bush) because they felt Bush was pushing his extremist conservative beliefs down their, and the American peoples, throats.

I am not sure where people get the idea that Bubba's views are extreme?!

Save the Manatee and No drilling in the Gulf seem to be pretty mainstream here in Florida.

Jimmy isn't broke, the State is.
I think Jimmy would offer a fresh perspective.

He Lived here most of his life, made his money and paid his property taxes here. Florida doesn't have State Income tax. So, he understands the issues.

He sings about everyday problems.

http://www.buffett2006.com

But on the flip side, I was at an Orlando rally back in November and i asked him to run and he said "I still have a couple of good years left in me. But you never know."

True Jimmy Buffett style!

As for me.. I think this country was doing much better with Clinton.. I mean our biggest scandal was him getting a blow job.

We weren't in war and we more than balanced the budget. And now, we have record deficits.. Hmm...

The biggest problem was that the Clinton administration did nothing to protect us. He let Osama Bin Laden and other terrorists attack us without penalty.

1 WTC bombing, numerous embassy bombings, the bombing of the USS whatever it was, the long-time planning of the WTC in 2001....Clinton did nothing throughout this....but he did bomb an aspirin factory to get our attention away from his hummer scandal.

Btw - The REAL issue wasn't Clinton getting the BJ...the issue was that he Lied under Oath about it, a Federal offense

I will not tell you that Bush is perfect. It p*** me off that he has not trimed the size of the government, he allows too many programs to be added to the budget, and he himself spends way too much. But he is the type of leader we need right now. He is decisive, and not afraid to p*** off the Euros.

Yes, Bush was misinformed, Clinton intentionally lied under Oath, a big difference in terms of character.

But it doesn't matter really. Bush technically didn't HAVE to have a reason to invade Iraq. Iraq was in direct violation of numerous UN Resolutions that stated any UN member nation could force Iraq to comply. Bush just made a mistake on how he handled. I'm not a Bush fan at all.

This country will continue its downward spiral until a Libertarian gains office 8)
