I can hear it already. Touring with Chesney AND skipping Great Woods for the second year in a row. I'll just sit back and observe. 8)
Larry, you forgot the stadium venues and increased ticket price...let the fur fly...

Maybe I'll have a line on tickets

Seriously - joint concerts would justify the higher prices. If it were someone big it seems like they would announce it together, so the other fans have an equal shot at tickets before Jimmy's fans gobble them all up.
This is the music industry. Nothing make sense.

It's a very long show.
Toby Keith and Jimmy is what I heard.

But I thought they had a falling out - someone on the CMT Board said that's why Jimmy recorded POW solo...

Toby is currently touring with Ted Nugent. So I guess anything could happen.

Alan Jackson was touring with Martina McBride and George Strait was touring with Dirks Bently when they both "opened" for Jimmy in Dallas.

and I saw kennys second leg schedule and it was pretty intense but there was a couple of long periods where they werent playing, so he could jump on and open for two-week stadium tour, anythings possible I just severely doubt it will happen

the way to tell if he is playing with a opening act is to look at the time the concert is to start. most venues have time restaints on when a show has to be over.jimmy's show usually goes 21/2-3 hours.8:00 start i doubt would have a opening act.
