Gillette Stadium - Foxboro
Phily is scheduled for two shows in August. Chicago is rumored for two in early September.
How come Foxboro is only rumored for one show in July. Jimmy sold out 2 shows at Fenway Park in less time than it took to blink. I know Gillette stadium is big, but the fan base here in New England is bigger.
Don't get me wrong, I'll take one show if that's all we can get. But how about it J.B? Do us a favor and actually make tickets accessible without having to use a broker.

I AGREE ON THE 2 SHOWS, BUT TO SELL OUT 2 SHOWS AT 60,000 WOULD BE TOUGH.IF YOU REMEMBER AT FENWAY THERE WERE A TON OF TICKETS ON THE STREETS AND THEY WEREN'T SCALPERS.I THINK TICKETS WILL BE EASIER TO GET AT A BIGGER VENUE. THE PRIME SEATS MIGHT NOT. HOPEFULLY THEY DO A PRE-SALE LIKE THEY DID WITH THE OTHER SHOWS. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A PATS SEASON TICKET HOLDER OR ON THE LIST TO BE.

It's partly the Pats season ticket holders that concern me. The vast majority of seats at Gillette are held by season ticket holders.
At least if he did two shows, and assuming season ticket holders could only buy for one, us common folk would have a chance at decent seats without paying a premium.
With the number of fans in this area, I do believe that he would have no trouble selling out the vast majority of seats for two shows.

Anyway, hasn't he sold out two shows in Phily? I think that stadium holds 40,000+, although I don't know what the concert capacity is.

it will be about the same as fenway. the whole outfield area is blocked off and thats a lot of seats.CTParrothead763 wrote:tequilatom wrote:I AGREE ON THE 2 SHOWS, BUT TO SELL OUT 2 SHOWS AT 60,000 WOULD BE TOUGH.IF YOU REMEMBER AT FENWAY THERE WERE A TON OF TICKETS ON THE STREETS AND THEY WEREN'T SCALPERS.I THINK TICKETS WILL BE EASIER TO GET AT A BIGGER VENUE. I happen to be a Pats season ticket holder even though I'm a Falcons fan, makes sense huh? Anyway, with season ticket holders controlling roughly 95% of the available seats there, there is no way that we'll be given first crack at them.
However, in the past, for the Stones, U2 and maybe Springsteen, Foxboro residents were given access to a presale code. You had to have a credit card billing address in Foxboro in order to get your tickets. I could see them doing that again.
I think he could sell out two shows, especially on a holiday weekend. You'd probably see 2,000 listings on ebay, but everybody that wants to see him would finally be able to. Even one show should make it much easier to get tix than in the past.
I'd still much much rather see him at Great Woods though even if I had to pay more money.

After years and years of waiting in line at a Ticketmaster outlet, I'm convinced that your best bet is to be on the website the second they go on sale and keep your fingers crossed.CowboyinaJungle wrote:Well im a Parrothead in training and i was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get tickets to the show at Gilette (assuming that it happens). As for what goes on before the show...get there a minimum of 8 hours before the show time, walk around and you won't be disappointed.

Selling out Foxboro is like selling out 3 at Great Woods or 2 at Fenway. Sure does cut down on his workload. Also I am not sure if Patriots season ticket holders have ever gotten first crack at concert tickets. The baseball stadiums are different as there are very few shows ever held there so it's a novelty thing. Also remember, 90 whatever percent of the seats are season ticktets, but usually each account hold multiple seats. I know of quite a few people who have more then 4 seats per game. So I would guess that actually accounts would be much lower.

I am a Patriot Season ticket holder (have 12 seats) and a member of the Patriots access membership club
http://points.patriots.com/members/.
In the past they have offered concert tickets to the season ticket holders first and the access membership club. Lets not forget the peeple that live in Foxboro. They also get first crack at tickets. To purchase tickets through the access club, you had to buy them directly through the Patriots website. The most recent concerts were a Toby Keith concert and Bon Jovi shows a year ago
Not sure what they will do this time, but if Philly or Pittsburg is any indication, its not a bad thing to be a season ticket holder as that is where all the great seats are going.
