Melissa,
I am a member of the PHCOEM and it's a great club. You can sign up for the club by printing out the application off the web site www.phcoem.com. The monthly meetings are held the first Thur of each month in a number of different locations. With the club being spread out of such a large area its easier to have multilple locations rather then one place. All you have to do is pick the one easiest for you to get to. You can find the location on the Events Calendar page.

Cubbie Bear wrote:Not to be a "bring me down" but some clubs seem rather snooty. I tried to introduce myself to the members of the Isle Of Iowa Club at their bus at Alpine two years ago, because phriends were trying to get me to join, and they were a bunch of butts. (Wino must not have been with them) They acted like I was some kind of a bother. I have made no move towards joining since, even though my friends have recruited about 50 from our town.
I know how you feel Cubbie,

I've often thought of joining the local PH Club here in Denver, and I still think about it.

The only thing holding me back was an encounter I had with a few of
the members at a concert of a local steel drum band a few years ago.
They all looked as if they were having a great time, so during a break I
tried to ask a few of them about the PH Club. They just kind of blew me off! :-?
I've had a bit of a bad taste about them ever since. :(

Although I must say I have chatted with a few of the members that are
active here on BN, I am now thinking about joining again.

How true, how true. you got 3 groups in a club

-the everyone is welcome group
-the "Hey, isn't this an exclusive club" group
-the this is another excuse to drink group

find the first group in the club and stick with them :D
