When I'm working at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning I always have his music on. I was just curious to see if other folks listen while they work.

When the day comes for me to check out I want the person embalming me to have Buffett playing...I may add this demand to my will. :D

We've got a crazy business- we create these huge parties for conventions, associations and such and so Buffett is the background music for all of it. My employees just expect that when they walk into the front office or warehouse in the morning it's Fruitcakes!
Our office manager was giving a new client a tour once right in the middle of WDWGDAS blazin' and ran around the corner with eyes bulging...I just shrugged and smiled... by the way we actually have a LARGE volcano in our warehouse that blows! It's one of my favorite props don't you know :pirate: :pirate: :pirate:

I'm a nurse and thanks to generous donations from our patients and family, we have a bose radio for our unit. Whenever I am there, Jimmy is playing. The patients usually love it, it helps keep up the mood and makes the environment a little less sterile. I even had one patient request pencil thin mustache for her afternoon walk down the hall! :)

Today was Friday/Payday and we WERE all in a good mood, damnit! Then s*** started hitting the fan. I had the live version recorded in Vegas 2003 with me, so we all listened to it. Made the rest of the day alot easier to cope with. One of the younger girls burned it to her laptop. Before I started working there, no one listened to Buffett. I'm known now as the "Parrothead".

I thought that I was the only funeral director / embalmer that listens to Buffett!!! Maybe we should start a club.......or a support group!!! And, yes, my private office is also decorated with all sorts of Buffet memorabila...including the inflatable Corona "Hemisphere Dancer" and a live palm tree!!!!

Listening to Bubba at work

Pretty much every day, all day. I listen to RM for several reasons; variety, replays of old live shows and most important, when RM goes off the air, I know our internet connection is down. Has not been such a problem since we got a T-1 connection, but used to be a real pain as the old provider was most unreliable (that's why I have a T-1 now.....)

jiggs(2) wrote:yup, on the 20gb iPod, my entire jimmy CD collection and then some from various sources...lost of other stuff on it too...it does hold 5000 songs so jimmy better keep writing...I get to listen between 2-4 hours a day depending on how much I'm at my desk
Got the Dell DJ running at my my store. The only songs I really have to skip is WDWGDAS and Please Take Your Drunken 15 y/o Girlfriend Home. Love it and I I think it eases some of the customers as well.
