can you reveal the location...I went to filenes in manchester nh last year and was about 20th in line and got shut out but got tickets via the phone. I got my tickets at 10:05 and was way back! Cant figutre how they sold so many so fast.

Ebay is already loaded with tickets! going for about 175 for 2 lawn!

This is the kind of stuff that really p*** me off. There are no pre-sales and tickets don't go on sale for three more days. So, how in the hell do ticket agencies have these tickets (or at least know that they're getting them)

It's this type of insider crap with Ticketmaster and Clear Channel that infuriates me. It's one thing for a ticket agency to have to go through the motions like we all do and then scalp their tickets, but to have access to the best seats in the house before ANYBODY else is a joke.
Tryin' to tell myself that my condition is improvin' and if I don't die by Thursday, I'll be roarin' Friday night.

Could you share with us this location

It is about 4 hours from Boston......the farther you get from Boston the less people there are. It sucks getting up early on a Saturday morning and driving a long way but if you get tickets it is well worth it.

I was wondering that myself. We were all thinking of trying for Monday, its easier to get off work. If we get tickets we are not going to stay for the encores, everyone will have to work the next day. Greatwoods is hell to get out of.

Also, buffett use to play in June at GW, went to LD maybe 10 years ago? The only year we missed was 92 when the first keet was born, wife was 9 months plus in June so we skipped see you all there

It was only 10 - 15 years ago when we looked forward to 3 Buffett Shows in June or July here at Great Woods. It wasn't bad then and it won't be bad now.

Still a little horrified at the ticket prices....just curious what category the 'uncovered pavillion/ex-lawn seats will fall in?

I cannot image spending close to $100 face to sit in the lawn seats....especially knowing the scalpers who bought all the back-door seats in sections 1-3 paid the same amount.

We kid here alot, but seriously, these prices are getting to the point where a family man like myself has to think twice about where I spend my entertainment dollars. Spending a week's takehome on just the tickets is getting a little too pricey.....yes I probably will do it but it means less money for the rest of the summer events......like Billy Idol.

Can I get a Rebel Yell?

Monday.
Connects with the weekend, for travellers.
Doesn't disrupt the work week as much.
Allows a l-o-n-g pre-party period.

We'll see soon how aftermarket pricing goes.

After waiting so long for a GW show, fighting for tickets, and spending all that money, why on earth would you leave before the show was over? To each their own, but I'd much rather take the next day off (vacation or sick day), or just s*ck it up and go in tired...

I agree Frank. I went to the Sunday Fenway show last year, couldn't get Monday off, drove from Boston to Long Island right after the show and went to work Monday. The only thing that saved me was showtime was 6:00 instead of 8:00 so I was on the road a little after 10:00, but it's still more than 200 miles. And I'm old.
