Wow. I had a red-eye flight from my spring break in California this morning and just woke up and this is the first time I am hearing all this. It is over-whelming and AMAZING.

I drove by Irvine like 10 times while in Cali and just day-dreamed of a Buffett show. I still dont know what it is that makes Greatwoods so great but there is just something magical in the parking lot dirt that makes it such a fun place to see Jimmy. I hope this stuff is all true.

Thank GOD the Gillete plans have changed- The Tweeter Center in Mansfield is the BEST place to tailgate- the Mohegan Sun Casino is a good idea- but it's a casino- probably no tailgating, but the arena is nice - not really a bad seat in the place....Saw the Fort lauderdale show in Feb. - pretty good- both show and tailgating- tailgating pales in comparison to the northeast.....

Redneck - check out my earlier post. The Casino could easily pay him what ever fee he wants and still come out way ahead.

Just got an E-mail from someone that tickets will go on sale March 19th. Take it for what it is worth. Normally a reliable source

Does that mean Mohegan Sun is a go also? I'd go there before I make the trek to Great Woods again.

I just got information that Reba McEntire goes on sale on March 19th at the Tweeter Center. There is a pre-sale beginning 3/16-3/18

If Buffett goes on sale on March 19th, they would probably have to straddle the on-sale times

I'm not convinced on Mohegan Sun or Tweeter. Mohegan because it doesn't really seem like a place he would play, and the Tweeter Center because there is an Alan Jackson concert officially scheduled there (as in, not just a rumor) for June 22nd. Which kind of puts a damper on a Buffett concert the same night.

The Alan Jackson concert is MAY 22nd, not June 22nd.

If this comes to be true, and who knows for sure..........but I know that next Saturday is the sale date for U2 at the Hartford Civic Center in DECEMBER..........yes, DECEMBER............I wouldn't expect a Buffett show for Mohegan to go on sale at the same time since both use ticketmaster.

knowing ticketmaster, they would put both on sale on the same date.i've seen were they put shows on sale at different times.

to really screw us up they will put tickets onsale during the week.going down to mohegan tonight,maybe i can get some info.

for what it is worth, jack johnson is also going on sale through ticketmaster sat the 19th 11am for his massachusetts show

just got back from mohegan sun.asked a girl at the arena box office about the show.she said she heard the rumor but nothing definate.i asked her if that is what she is told to say and she said no.she just heard about the possibility.take that as you may. but i tried.

I've got it from a very good source that the Tweeter and Mohegan Sun date are correct and for sure. Haven't heard an on sale date though.

PHIP is stating the Mohegan Sun and Tweeter Shows are confirmed for 6/17 6/20 and 6/22 respectively.

What ever happened to Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays????

Mohegan on a Friday would be interesting....I am sure those Indians will make sure they milk every dollar out of us....some type of 'tailgating' will be in place, even if it is inside and Margaritas are $10.

Tickets for Jimmy won't go on sale at 10:00 on Saturday. Maybe 12:00?

The Great Woods site says 3/19 at 10:00 AM. However, there is no confirmation of that on the TM site yet .. go figure.
