Sweet.........who's making the jello shots? I should probably practice between now and then. Sandi's test kitchen.......BottleofRum wrote:I think I speak for all when I say anyone can join us, I am not sure who is going yet but we will have a large crew. Over the past few years we have all met at an RV so that was an easy target but this year we RV-less. I plan on getting to the GW area around 10AM. So we can all meet at the convenience store next to Great Woods and drive in together. We have done this in the past and it worked out well. As long as we can get 3-4 cars parked together we will be OK, the late arrivals can just walk over and join us. When I say bar I don’t mean anything huge. It is a 3-4 foot bar not-fancy bar that is really just a place to store (hide) your alcohol for easy access when you need it. I have brought it to Buffett shows several times over the years and it worked out well. I also have a pick up truck so it is easy to transport it.MojosMama wrote:What time are you planning to get to the lot? I'll have quite a few jello shots with me... I'm planning to make about 100 - 200(if needed) for the entire weekend.. June 17th is Mohegan, June 18th I have my college graduation party (a little late I know), and then the 2 great woods show.. So I'll have jello shots.... Any recommended flavors???MojosMama wrote:Sweet.........who's making the jello shots? I should probably practice between now and then. That is a good question, right now we don't have a leader to get things orginized. I know I will be there with bar in hand around 9:30-10:00AM on Monday. The hope is a few of us can meet up out front then drive in together.kitty wrote:I know I am out of the loop...but can anyone give me a Reader's Digets version of this post...
Who's going..what day and where do we meet up???

The parking lot of the Holiday Inn which is near an industrial park has plenty of parking for a meeting spot and its near the other hotels about 3 mins from G.W. or there is the parking lot at Roach Brothers Supermarket but that place will be crazy bcause it's close to G.W. last minute shoppers.BottleofRum wrote:That is a good question, right now we don't have a leader to get things orginized. In years past we have meet down the street from Great Woods in a shopping center lot. I am not sure if it is the same place you are talking about. I know it has a McDonalds there though and is only 2 minutes from GW.

That's the one, there is a Roach Bros Supermarket there also and they sell beer. It isn't really near the Red Roof. The Red Roof is over by the 99 Restaurant.BottleofRum wrote:In years past we have meet down the street from Great Woods in a shopping center lot.
