If everyone pitches in to help with RV Parking, it shouldn't be bad. It's just a case of getting what you pay for.
If the Gold 3 lot is as close to the water as it looks, that seems like the place to be. What's the scoop on it?

I have also heard bus parking is at the Carnegie Science Center and car parking is $30. You need to know that the City Of Pittsburgh tacks on a
50% parking tax. That means parking is $15 and the city adds $15 for a total of $30. Gold Lot 3 is no longer there they have built a building on it.

Parking the buses near the Carnigie Science Center makes sense (although it does s***). If they allowed buses to park in the lots near PNC, it would s*** up alot of the spaces, and create a logistical nightmare.

Also, as Mr. B said....there is a 50% parking tax in Pittsburgh, which jacks up the parking rates.....

If you plan on parking near PNC, you had better be there early. These lots are going to fill very quickly.

$25 dollars for a car to park I can believe. But I have a very hard time believing they will charge that much for the buses.

I got an email from the president of the Pittsburgh area Parrothead Club. He said that PNC hasn't made any decisions on Bus / RV parking. He said they hope to have more information sometime in April.

$120 for RV parking wouldn't surprise me, especially considering the high tax rate. I think I paid around $100 to park my boat in Dallas last year.

Just wondering -- How early is "early"?
