My email from Mailboat yesterday indicated that Coastal Confessions would come out in the early summer (but then again we know how reliable they are!)

It definitely helps that Matt and katie are beyond PH rookie status. You can see them trying to explain what Buffett means and who he is to all the outsiders. I feel their pain.
I would still love to see him do it though.

I think he will be there again. He and Matt seem to be buds and the Al Roker book connection gives another reason. My bet is June 24. As I recall, last year he was a late additin to the schedule.

Yes, I am reviving this topic because I still believe he will make a Today show appearance. So the open dates are: June 24, July 15, July 22, August 5, August 12, August 19, and September 2.

Ohhhhh I have vacation that day!!! I can make it to this one possibly... that's of course if shaney wants to be my keeper in NYC as I could get in a lot of trouble if left on my own...

I forgot about the Al Roker book connection. If I were a betting man, I'd put money on June 24, also.

on June 24 the peter mayer gtoup has I think a gig in philadelphia
since they usually play with JB that would probably rule out the 24th, here is his schedule. I doubt that He would do a date that peter had previously cleared with his people.

I doubt if Peter Mayer's gig is at 7am in the morning though!
It would probably be feasible for him to do the Today Show in the morning and make it to a show in Philly that evening.....not the most ideal situation in the world, but Bubba is the boss and if he asked him, Peter would be wise to say yes.

She graduates from rookie status when she can sing along to Banana Republics or Barefoot Children.

They've always had an occassional musical guest on other days but they don't publicize those performances as much as the Friday concerts.
I'm not expecting JB to be on the Today Show this year but if he is I think it's more likely to be in July when he's on a break from the tour. Last year's performance was the Friday before he went back on the road for the Camden/Nissan/Blossom/Indy/Alpine leg of the tour. The 2003 Today Show concert was the week after a 2 week leg of the tour ended.
