What do you think? Is he going to do it again this year? Looking at the rumor mill for concert dates, it looks like there might be a few opportunities to fit it into the schedule.

Anyone?? Anyone?? Bueller??

Darren??

I work in Rockefeller Center, across the street from the Today Show. We usually get an email from building management when the lineup is announced, warning us of the possibility of crowds on concert days. We haven't gotten anything yet this year. The concert series used to start the Friday of Memorial Day weekend but the last 2 years they've been starting in mid-April.

If I had to guess, I'd say no. He used to do the Today Show every other year and he's been on 2 years in a row. I've been working here since the year the Today Show concert series started, 1996, and they've never had anyone on 3 years in a row so I don't expect JB to be on this year. Plus, he doesn't have anything to plug. I think the only way he'd be on is if the DVD for the Coastal Confessions show in New Orleans is ready sometime this year.

I just saw the firm's facilities manager in the cafeteria, she's the one who gets all the inside info from building management. So far the Today Show has only announced 4 concerts and Jimmy isn't one of them.

I really enjoyed the past two summers - so much so I decided that when he plays the Today Show it should be a Holiday for me...so nothing like starting the day with Bloody Mary's and an early morning mini-concert with JB followed up by a summer day at the beach..hope he plays....thanks for the info!!!!

Yeah, last year he played the Today Show on June 25. I can see him doing it on Friday the 24th this year. It is 2 days after the Great Woods show, and 2 days before the Pittsburgh show. Plus its on his way. Thats my bet...

I'm sure it will depend if Jimmy has anything to "push" this year or not ...

It's always so much fun when he does the Today Show because of the crowds. Also Matt and Katie are well beyond the rookie level of "what is a parrothead?" which is nice.

Isn't the 15 minutes up on all of those artists? With the exception of the Peas and JT, that's just awful!
