Today is like opening day for professional drinkers. Well at least for those of us that can't make it to Mardi Gras.

So are you drinking to drink today? Or are you drinking to celebrate your Irish heritage?

Part Irish, my mother's side of the family is Irish AND English. But I won't be drinking today, I have to work then I have a doctor's appointment at 6:15 tonight.

I'm about 75% Irish. Generally, I avoid bars on St. Patty's day like the plague (amateur night). However, my pool league shoots on Thursdays, so I guess I'll have to venture out and walk amongst the wannabes.

My mother is almost completely Irish. My father is a little Irish. So I am a littke under 1/2 Irish.

Actually, do you consider New Year's the end of the drinking season, or the beginning?

Irish by marriage. Mother in Law was conceived in Ireland, but born here.
