We got Wednesday's at 10:01 through the computer. We also got additional 8 through the phone calling Florida TM (diff card and address of course)

I got through a third time around 10:20 and Wednesday Tix were gone.

My girlfriend called the IN Tmaster and she got in, and got us close up sect 1 seats for Wed, and I got in through the computer right at 10, and the best available for Mon was Sec 12, row 2, so I bought those too. SWEET!!!!! Spring came early!!

STRUCK OUT

Post by Captain »

We struckout!!

Lucky me.......was inline early at Filenes and had number 418 was called.....yup you guessed it I had 417.

Only 2 people got tickets at Waterford FIlenes!!!!

Looking for at least 4 to 8 tickets. Reserved or lawn.

Will pay a reasonable price, or if someone is interested in a 6 person charter fishing trip we could work a deal as I run a charter fishing business. www.reelinsportfiishing.com

Thanks

This is just a conspiracy theory. But when my friend first tried to get tickets there was a page to buy "Premium Parking" for SATURDAY. I wonder if they plan on adding a Satruday show. It makes sense since that date is free and 3 GW shows is not outof the ordinary. Hopefully they add this show.

I was third in line...Guy in front of me wanted U2 tix for Conn. The clerk couldn't find U2 listed in the computer this held the line up as the guy insisted they went onsale @ 10 so the clerk was searching the system,(and never found U2 Listed) by the time I got to the counter (about 10:10) I was able to get Pav for Mon and Lawn for Wed.

The place I went to said the limit was 4 per show. I was the last person to get tickets after me both shows were sold out. There were only about 15 people total in line so the U2 guy cost at least 3-5 of those people tickets.

Congrats to all who scored tickets today!

Our group struck out with 7 people trying. We've had great success using the internet in the past, but knew it was too good to last. Dreaded "proxy error" hit every single one of us (all on Comcast, but different households). By the time it was resolved (10:02) it was a 15 minute on-line wait, and we knew the end was near. Sure enough, 10:15 or so and no tickets left.

We'll keep trying via the Ticket Exchange, and if we have to will resort to EBAY (once the prices come down -- $150 for Lawn? Youch!). One way or another, we'll see Jimmy again this year.

It was a bit melancholy driving around afterwards listening to the Coconut Telegraph CD -- usually I've got a grin going from ear to ear after scoring tickets. When I got back on-line it was nice to see that folks who had trouble in the past were able to get tickets the easy way this year.

So I'm going to pop open a Corona and salute you all! I'll have a grin going again, because even though I ain't got tickets, I know some great PHANs do! 'Til we meet in the GW parking lot, CHEERS! :D
