well said, PHB. . .PHBeerman wrote:This is a tough situation for all involved. And I am glad that I am not in either the husband's shoes or the parent's. Life is precious. However, if life was about being locked within my own body for 15 years, I would prefer to enjoy the dignity of death. However, as a parent, I try to think of what I would do if it were one of my boys in this condition. The answer is I truly do not know. I hope I never have to make that decision. The same goes if it were my wife in that bed. Luckily we have used this case to document our wishes. I personally hope that the parents realize that they are fighting this battle for themselves not Terri. And I hope that the husband does the same.
Thank you Troy. I share your sentiments.PHBeerman wrote:This is a tough situation for all involved. And I am glad that I am not in either the husband's shoes or the parent's. Life is precious. It's actually been very challenging at home, discussing this with Victoria. She goes to a Catholic school and obviously there's no question where the Church stands on this issue. She does know that mommy and daddy have different opinions (than her school) in this particular case but we didn't really discuss it much further than that. She didn't really ask.ph4ever wrote:buffettbride wrote:Thank you Troy. I share your sentiments.PHBeerman wrote:This is a tough situation for all involved. when your children get old enough you can use this case to discuss it with them. That's what Steven and I did Saturday. I know exactly what he would want me to do.

it's so painfully obvious that Hal/Boca/Brad/jxnph are all the same person. This dude has so many people running around in his head it's not EVEN funny.
