Seriously? Have you considered an Episcopal Church? It's kind of like Catholic-Lite.
Long story but "officially" I am Catholic and Lutheran. (Remember 1st generation reformed)

Anyway for years my wife and I have searched for something that we would enjoy. I am comfortable in the Catholic church.

I have some friends - now they were not catholic - but they joined the Episcopal Church and were very happy with it. He was raised Southern Baptist and she was raised Methodist. When my minister retired he joined the Episcopal church as well. I've heard a lot of good things about it
I spent most of my growing-up years in the Episcopal church, once my parents were divorced and didn't have it anulled.

Cyber Sisters are an extremely fierce confederation of fighting females who act something like a shrill Greek chorus, echoing and amplifying one another's voice until their foes retreat in disarray. They are generally leaderless, but anyone who challenges one Cyber Sister can expect to be savagely attacked by the others. Only the most powerful and battle-hardened of Warriors is strong enough to weather a Cyber Sisters attack.
Um, 'scuse me!!! We're a mafia, thank you! :-?
well, yea... MAFIA. Helloooo?

Perhaps OMB didn't get the memo?
We've unionized from sisterhood to all out angry mob.

I've got the tar in the back - it's just about hot enough and just a few more bags of feathers and we're all ready!!
I've been working on my cinderblock collection... up to about 20 now...

And I totally agree about the pinstripes... besides... the black with the pink pinstripes is SO fashionable!

I'll have to agree with you there. At one time I considered converting to Catholicism (sp). But today, where I am now in my faith and my relationship with God, I have some questions about not only the Catholic church but many different churches.

I don't know what Terri really wants, but I can guarantee it isn't this crap.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving

Sure. I understand.

And I'm not just talking about people here, but in general, it seems that Catholic-bashing is really popular and widely accepted... much more than other Christian faiths with many flaws themselves. :-?
