Kieth Urban!! What are they gonna call this? The wannabe show?

Urban wants to be a rocker so bad he can't stand it. Only problem is that there isn't an audience for him in the rock and roll world. Keith Urban is a very prime example of why country music sucks today.

They should also add Big and Rich, Dicks Bently, and the idiot that sang that stupid sond about old red.

What a show that would be.

But hey, Kenny would be the best of the bunch.
Can't believe I actually said that.

WRONG - it's May 14th at AAC according to Kenny's site and Ticketmaster. Tickets on sale on April 2nd according to The Wolf.

I wouldn't go to a show there but that's just me. I'd rather go to a inside KC show than ANY show at TMS - well unless it's racing.

Yeah, Gretchen is a good fit for this show as well. She is doing anything but "keepin' it country". What a joke.

I could be wrong, but you seem way too focused on categorizing musicians... why not just let them play what they play, and you listen or don't listen, instead of complaining of who or what they want to be... :-?

March 17, 2005: Kenny Chesney will hit three stadiums this summer during his tour in support of his new disc, "Be As You Are: Songs From An Old Blue Chair."
Chesney, who starts his '05 tour next week in Green Bay, Wisc., will hit Washington DC's FedEx Field, the New England Patriots' Gillette Stadium and Pittsburgh's Heinz Field. In June and July.
"We got a taste of stadiums when I was out doing those two George Strait tours, and it's a whole other different kind of energy," said Chesney. "And when we went into UT's Neyland Stadium for the 'Back Where I Come From Homecoming Party' two years ago, that feeling of having that many people there for your music is pretty intense. We've been trying to figure out how to do something like this ever since."
Chesney plays Washington June 4, Foxboro, Mass. July 23 and Pittsburgh July 30.
"We're always trying to grow this thing, to try different stuff," said Chesney. "The fans keep telling their friends and then they tell someone else, and everybody comes back, cooks out, help us throw a pretty cool party in their hometown. This year, in these markets that have always been ready to have a super-good-time with us. We just super sized the party."
The Somewhere in the Sun tour with special guest Gretchen Wilson and Uncle Kracker starts March 23-24 in Green Bay, following a two week postponement due to an ankle injury.

Because, as someone who has probably listened to country music longer than 90% of the people here, it bothers me to see it go in the crapper like it has been doing for a few years now. There is nothing country about Urban, Dicks Bently and Gretchen Wilson. I may not like Kenny Chesney, but at least he is country. For now, anyway.

Pirate, I won't disagree with you on the state of country music. When traditional country music is not the norm, there's a problem with the genre. That being said, I would however like to disagree with you about Dierks Bentley. I don't really see him too much as a poser like some other acts on radio. If you're judging by his radio singles off of his first album, they don't do him justice. Go deeper into the album. Also if you haven't heard his new single, I would highly reccomend it. I have a hard time believing that Dierks' new single is not country.

Just my two cents.
