Hey there--
so heres a cool thing--- i went to my doctor today (which is NOT cool..) hes actually a pretty nice guy, since i dont enjoy doctors very much.
but after we talked about my health, he told me to go home...
then saw my margaritaville t-shirt...and said "oh--you like buffett?"
"Hell yeah!" i said with my enthusiasm.
"hes great, did you go to the fenway show?"
and we chatted for a few minutes about jimmy...then he told me to
"go outside, enjoy the day, pop in a buffett cd and get yourself to margaritaville!"
doctors orders!! my doc is a parrothead! now i think hes even cooler!

That's cool!

Now that you know that he's a fellow phriend,

LOL,

LB--have had waaaaaaay too much bad news in my short 29 years.
as a matter of fact, he said i should be thankful i am 29 and not 89,
cuz the tests he would do to me would be endless...

this is a medication i can handle...and the first time i have enjoyed
following doctors advice, lol.

That's A great story! Parrotheads can be found anywhere.

Several years ago I was admitted to the ER, unable to breathe with blood clots in my lungs. I was wearing one of my tour t-shirts. When the Dr. came in to examine me, the first thing he noticed was my t-shirt. He wanted to talk about Jimmy. Maybe he was trying to get me relaxed but I didn't really want to talk about Buffett, I just wanted to breathe! He's still my doctor and I've been on coumadin ever since that time. One of the no-no's while on coumadin is alcohol. Good thing my Dr. is a parrothead because he understands the occasional partying and when my PT/INR gets out of line he usually asks me what parrothead function I've recently attended. We've gotten really good at adjusting my coumadin around these events.
