What is it about telling your neighbor, "I can hear you having sex" that makes them want to keep doing it louder AND trace your movements through your apartment by going from their own living room to bedroom when you can't block them anymore.
On a side note, her personal trainer is going above and beyond the call of duty. I don't think she's paying him in fried chicken anymore. Also (from what I've heard) I wouldn't mind meeting somebody as talented as him.

So now there's more "banging" than the person who fancies themselves a contractor??

If you think my posts kill you, you should see the video of my karaoke performance on YouTube. My knees look like somebody took a baseball bat to them.
Sometimes I think my life would be easier if I were a little more Audrey Hepburn and a little less Will Ferrell.

For some reason this came to mind "I tried to be like Grace kelly, but her looks were too sad"

Sippin' not on gin and juice, but on my third beer, so technically not yet really intoxicated, and listening to a song about Key West on BFR, I remembered a story involving the FL Keys. Thought to share it, so here goes.
In the small town where I grew up (eighties, was a teen then) there were two places one could buy records. (Vinyl stuff that is, remeber that?)
One was a shop which sold everything "multimedia", like TV sets, hi fi gear and so on. They sold mostly charts records, some jazz, and some classical music.
Situated in the center of town where all other big shops were, so rather expensive.
They had phone handset style things to listen to a record (only one side of it please!) before you bought...
The other shop was called Fairplay Records, situated at the old main street which was just closed for motorized traffic and therefore pretty much dead 'cause the city government forgot to think about a development plan...
They only sold records and some expensive esoteric high end gear like MacIntosh record players... ( I think they never sold it, but rather used it for themselves...)
The shop was owned and run by two freaky music enthusiasts, maybe in their late twenties or early thirties.
They had a few good record players set up, with good quality headphones, and one could operate them on his own!
The shop's name was program, they were extremely fair.
With every record you bought you got a stamp on a card, and when the card was filled with ten or twelve stamps you got to choose a record.
If you bought a good amount of double albums they maybe even told you to choose a double album!
So for us young guys it was heaven! (I still have my core collection of maybe 150 vinyl albums I bought there...)
When I was about 16 I got involved in the local self- governed youth- club. We had a house for free we could use however we wanted, and the city government sponsored us also an amount each year to run it and organize events.
I was heavily involved in organizing concerts and could get the record shop guys to advertise in our leaflets and monthly program magazines. Like this I got to know the two guys quite well.
One day I had to learn that one of them was diagnosed with cancer.
He had to undergo surgery, chemo therapy and whatnot...
About a year later he sold his part of the shop to his compagnon. He said "I'll go to enjoy the short rest of my life somewhere it's warm. I'll go to the Florida Keys. Farewell my friends!" and he left...
His former business partner told me later that the doctors prognosed him with a remaining lifespan of about a year...
A few years, maybe three or four, later, I lived with Irene in another town, I went to see my mom, and we went out for dinner.
I was pretty puzzled when it dawned on me that this guy who was prognosed to die within about a year some years ago was sitting at the next table, looking pretty good!
He was there with his former business partner, and we went for a few later, and he told me a pretty touching story.
With the money he got from selling his part of the record shop he got an investors visum for the USA, and he invested it in a café iirc, and "went to the Keys to die in a peaceful, warm place" he liked...
About two years later he went for a check up. No more traces of cancer were found in his body... Incredible but true.
I have never seen him or heard of him since, so perhaps he's still down there somewhere, who knows. At least I want to believe so!
(I so totally wouldn't be surprised when running into him in KW in two weeks...)
Actually this story is one of the major reasons the Florida Keys were kind of a dream I had for my life.
Combining this with seeing again some family members, what better could it get?!
And considered the facts that
-I planned Florida / KW / MOTM this February
-decided to go to GW in March
-met my first BN family members in June
-and now already start making plans for some vacations in the US next year
Key West, Jimmy Buffett and BuffettNews changed my life quite a bit in the last few months...
Thanks for reading.
Happy Buffett weekend,
Mike, after four beers and some shots of Rum Jumbie, thanks to brznbeaches!

This thread should be a sticky.
Why am I awake at 3AM? I'm too old for this. Random thought spewing out of my mind. I need a breakfast burrito. I'll settle for Ritz crackers. Please ignore this entire post. God save the Queen! Good night!

I woke up with this thread opening my phone. I was too tired to post by the time I found it. Either that, or the room had started spinning.

Home for short of a week.
It's cold here.
People drive like idjits. People in shops and stores are rude. People around me are rude.
It's cold here.
Had a few beers, listening to Thom Shepherd, like the CD!
Had a beautyful time in Florida, already miss it.
It's cold here.
Spent WAY too little time talking to my dear friends while in KW, everybody including me was in a frenzy I think....
Had such a blast in this beautyful little town! Love it, for a weekend, wouldn't want to live there...
It's cold here.
Was Lost in Key West And Loved It.
It's cold here.
I think I'm getting old, loving the heat. Used to love the cold when I was younger!
Florida for the first time. Consider me hooked. Beautyful nature, interesting nature.
Interesting inhabitants I met there. "I'll be back!"
I'ts cold here.
Two weeks New England in June and three weeks Florida October / November are in the planning.
Or maybe one week New England in June and one in August...
It's cold here.
Tomorrow weather forecast for the afternoon is good, so I may go for a ride.
Have a nice weekend all'y'all, thanks for reading!
Did I mention that it's cold here?
