This piece of work is selling two tickets at the back of Section 2 at Great Woods for 850 bucks, and has a picture lifted from somewhere on this site in his ad.

The photo gives credit to the website. I don't know whether you would have any legal recourse or not.

I PM'd Jim to let him know. I agree citcat....not that I'm naive about it, but the in your face bit about coming here and getting onsale information then scalping them....grrrrr.....
2nd only to the Ticket Exchange, with people who only have 1-4 posts suddenly appearing to sell tickets for "negotiable" prices...or "face plus fees" that turn out to be 200% of the real cost or higher.

Yes it does give credit to Buffettnews.com but it also looks as if buffettnews.com is the one sponsoring the auction which is not the case. So basically its like Jimmy taking the burger place to court because of the name they want to protect and keep genuine.

Isn't one of the prerequisites to exchanging tickets on here that they be for
face value only, plus shipping of course...??????

I wouldn't say the photo gives it 'credit'...I think the photo shows ownership. But who's to say?

Yeah, that's the idea....but have you ever responded to one? I reported a couple to Jim last year. Made contact and it turns out to be "I'll give these to the highest bidder" or...Honest, I bought these from another scalper for 400 bucks each....that IS my cost plus shipping. Horse$h!t.
*Not to say that everyone on the ticket exchange does that - this is just MY experience*

Yes, I have no clue on copyright laws. I just wanted to point out that the location of the photo is referenced.

DOH!
I wondered the same thing, but noticed "Jimmy Buffet is one of the best performers in the entire World", and thought otherwise!

Actually, it says the buyer must leave feedback before the seller will leave feedback. Not that big a deal, IMO.

Yeah, Frankie's right on this one. I just saw that myself.
