June 17th, at the Mohegan Sun arena. I just called the Mohegan Sun events number. Must be new info, cause the guy who checked the schedule sounded surprised. No info on ticket prices, but Ceol na Mara said they told him April 18th as an onsale date when he called.

It's an Indian casino.

Yeah but will it be in the arena where the Sun play, or like the wolfs den or something. I would assume the arena.

W O O - H O O ! ! !

this is what we've been waiting on . . .the Balcony Girls will most definitely be at this show . . .

now asking for a little help . .would it be better to book at the Casino or are there other choices near-by . . .? ? ?

I seem to remember someone saying it is a bit remote , and staying on-site has many advantages . . .but can also be a bit pricey . .

any help appreciated . .

Uncasville is somewhat remote. The hotel is beautiful, and can be a bit pricey. It's also real hard to get a reservation (no pun intended) on weekends.

It's not far from Norwich, Connecticut and maybe 10 - 15 miles from New London.

Stay there I'm sure it will be well worth it to tailgate there and walk to the show and walk to your room when it's over.

This show makes no sense to me. Buffett shuns smaller outdoor amphitheaters (for the most part) and decides to play baseball stadiums (35,000+ seats). And then he, his management and promoters say, "oh, let's play the intimate 10,000 seat Mohegan Sun Arena."

I'm not saying it isn't going to happen. I just don't understand the thought process at work here.

Pricey

Oh Yeah, the casino hotel is VERY pricey, especially on weekends, there are other choices right off I-95 on your way there.

Jane Buffett serves on fetal alcohol syndrome board with one of the 'Chiefs' at the Indian Reservation. Key Lime Lee posted a link a while back.
