I know obviously that's the name of the tour but alot of people are saying that Jimmy isn't playing the song. I saw somewhere that someone wrote that the entire show is based on the book. What types of things are in the show this year? How does Jimmy portray the book in the show?

Interesting. I hadn't read that this year's show is based off of the book. Melissa, where did you see this? If this is true, I would also be interested in learning more about it.

Fins01 posted in the ticket prices thread that his dad saw it and said it was completely based on the book. I know I saw it somewhere before too, but after seeing it a second time I had to ask! hehe

Maybe he was talking about the Costal Confessions earlier in the year. I know Jimmy read some of his books and then performed some songs.

Ahh.... Now I'm understanding. I was wondering how the stage show would reflect the book so much. Thanks for the clarification, Z.

Well, he does have a near lifesize replica the lighthouse from the book cover on stage at shows, but you've probably seen the pics already and knew that.

I wouldn't say "themed".
I would say the set is themed that way, and the sunrises and sets... but I don't know about being themed by the book.... because "take another road" wasn't a song I remember hearing at the show... and I would think it would have been in there, somewhere.... or ASPOL.

The stage is themed, but the setlist is not. Don't get me wrong. The setlist is great, and phun. I am a little surprised that he hasn't done the title song in his accoustic set. It would have been cool to hear it in place of the song Lighthouse. Lighthouse is a good song, but he should trade it off from show to show. I saw both the Tampa, and Ft. Liquerdale shows, and thought both were great.
Later,
Phin

I wouldnt' be suprised if ASPOL made it to the setlist for the next leg of the tour.
