we too have started our gw tailgating list. we have a few projects we are going to build so we want to start now while the weather is still crappy. we are planning on making a ring toss ( on a string ) game. the ones that sell at margaritaville. if and when you get the ring on the hook, one receives a jello shot. my question is... where do we get those small plastic things that everyone makes the jello shots with? they look like the plastic containers that mustard etc. comes in at your local take out.

we are also bringing an easy up canopy
blender
chairs
table
sand
and most of the things you already listed.

see ya at monday's show with soasoapt! :)

You need a pool and at least 300 gallons of water.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening

HA ! . . .true story, one year in Atlanta a guy set up a 30' above ground pool. . .he got started about 9:00 and had a big azz water truck come into the parking lot to fill it up . .

lots of guys were in it with huge water cannons. . . lots of wet t-shirts that year . .

I remember seeing that pool in the gravel lot, but the water had been drained.

My wife had this idea the other day...say you've got 50 people coming to your tailgate. You could have everyone bring 4-5 bags of sand and set up a sand volleyball court.

Are you kidding? I'm lucky to remember that pool. I do remember hearing about Club Trini, although I can't make any guarantees that I was there.

Our "must bring" item we've taken to the show for the last several years is a party-size box of Mardi Gras beads. Many online outlets sell them in bulk- the place we get ours often has a deal where they sell 60 dozen for a little over twenty bucks (not including shipping).

Anyway, the fun you'll have giving them out far outweighs what you pay for them. Like they say, "It's amazing what people will do for those beads!"
"Yinz to the left, Yinz to the right!"
