we too have started our gw tailgating list. we have a few projects we are going to build so we want to start now while the weather is still crappy. we are planning on making a ring toss ( on a string ) game. the ones that sell at margaritaville. if and when you get the ring on the hook, one receives a jello shot. my question is... where do we get those small plastic things that everyone makes the jello shots with? they look like the plastic containers that mustard etc. comes in at your local take out.
we are also bringing an easy up canopy blender
chairs
table
sand
and most of the things you already listed.

You can probably get those containers at Sams club. If not pm me and I'll get you some. I buy hundreds every year to feed the Jello Cannon~

HA ! . . .true story, one year in Atlanta a guy set up a 30' above ground pool. . .he got started about 9:00 and had a big azz water truck come into the parking lot to fill it up . .
lots of guys were in it with huge water cannons. . . lots of wet t-shirts that year . .
. . " and I finally disappear . . . . BUT NOT YET ! ! "
I remember seeing that pool in the gravel lot, but the water had been drained.
My wife had this idea the other day...say you've got 50 people coming to your tailgate. You could have everyone bring 4-5 bags of sand and set up a sand volleyball court.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Yeah, I think the last time I was there was in 99. Hard to believe it's been almost 6 years.

remember how Club Trini would play before the show out front . .don't I remember that was where I first saw Ms. Heather . . ? ? ?
good memories. . .

Are you kidding? I'm lucky to remember that pool. I do remember hearing about Club Trini, although I can't make any guarantees that I was there.

came across a couple of inflatable sharks and inflatable parrots at the local card/party shop the other day, great addition to the buffett box for this summer.
toilet paper
another bucket partially filled with sand (see "blanket")
fin for the roof of your car
blanket (open the passenger and rear pass. door and put the blanket over the top to create a "private place" for the women folk. People have offered to pay for the use of ours.)
grass skirt
coconut bra
ID&cash to purchase overpriced beer in the venue
more toilet paper
big kosher pickles
Heinz 57
lettuce
tomato
french fried potatoes
A great attitude or you can just pick one up there
Our "must bring" item we've taken to the show for the last several years is a party-size box of Mardi Gras beads. Many online outlets sell them in bulk- the place we get ours often has a deal where they sell 60 dozen for a little over twenty bucks (not including shipping).
Anyway, the fun you'll have giving them out far outweighs what you pay for them. Like they say, "It's amazing what people will do for those beads!"
