Ouch, that is a sad moment in parrotheadism. I am the first to line up for new CDs, I have more than my share of M'ville shirts, hats and salt shakers, I even bought the Margaritaville shrimp - and I don't like shrimp!

But put a palm tree on a flip flop and charge $40?

What if one blows out? Will they replace it for free? :D

Probably quite a lot.

It's called "branding". Margaritaville is now (and has been for some time) a brand unto itself.

I would hope this was sanctioned/licensed by JB and his agents...

Anyone ever heard of Scott's sandals/flipflops? Came across them in 85 on Oahu, and am still wearing a pair and have one new pair... they last forever and are super comfortable....
