We will see how tomorrow morning goes. That is a good fallback plan though. And the price isn't that bad.

You guys, I have been to CiP for their pre concert party three times (2003 and before both shows in 2004- a friend hadn't ever been, so I had to go there on Tuesday, and the club tried working with them the other 2 times), and it's boooring!! I usually love meeting new people and circulating, and I spent the "tailgate" in the club suite almost the whole time last year. If you want a good party, go to one of the campgrounds. I think the club's having a tent party with a bus that should be decent, or at least better than that one has been in previous years. (I decided to take Friday off work and do both Wrigley shows instead of taking 2 days off work to do 1 Indy show.)

Hmmmm... just for fun I went to Ticketmaster and tried to purchase 2 best available tickets for Indy just to see what would come up. After waiting 10 minutes (on a high speed internet connection at work), the best available were lawn seats. Guess I made the right choice by going with CIP. Pavilion.... here I come!!! 8)

You are lucky you got those. It sold out quick. I was 12th in line and got no where near getting tickets. The fourth person in line got 2 and the fifth got one. Then it was done. Luckily I had someone get through online and get some.

What a neat idea. Gives CIP more of Buffett tie-in, and certainly more reason for people to visit their local CIP. Just very good press overall. Too bad all the CIP's don't get involved with something like that.

I was there for the Thursday show last year and there didn't seem to be much going on. I spent a lot of time in the club's suite at the hotel next door to CiP too.

Even though the CiP pre-party wasn't real great, you're smart to be on the bus because it seemed to be a looong way from CiP/hotel to Verizon Music Center. Farther than we were willing (or able) to drive :-?

It also seems like we got caught in TRAFFIC last time we were there. Thought we would never get to the venue.
