NISSAN 2005 - BAD LUCK?
I may be jinxing myself for 2006 but I'll deal with that then. Had excellent luck scoring 24 tickets to the Nissan show (6/15) yesterday. Myself and two friends waited in a decidely short line of only 22 people and most everyone got tickets while another buddy got through on the computer. All in all, I've always had good luck getting tickets to the show there.
VA BEACH (97,16), BRISTOW (98-12, 15, 17,18, 21), NASHVILLE (99, 17), COLUMBIA, MD (00), GREENSBORO (01-02), RALEIGH (03), ANTIOCH, TN (03), CHULA VISTA (04), PHILADELPHIA (05), LAS VEGAS (06-16, 19), HOUSTON (07), ATLANTIC CITY (07), FRISCO, TX (08).

Holy crap, you ended up with 24 tickets??? I thought I was doing good at 10!
I made the mistake of being the *first* person into the parking lot at nissan yesterday around 5am... received my defective raffel ticket and started waiting. When they started lining people up in random order based on the raffel ticket drawing, there were close to 400 people in front of me, with about 20 remaining and I hadn't been called yet. It was about ten minutes after 9 so I decided to throw in the towel and make my way home (about 10 minutes away)... I got home, fired up 3 comptuers and had my phone setup for speed dial.
Talk about a stroke of good luck! I dialed the phone 2 minutes before they went on sale, and after listening to the ticketmaster recording, found myself one on one with a ticket agent. They hadn't gone on sale yet, but I asked her if she'd please wait on the line with me for a minute and try for the best 4 available as son as she was able. I ended up with 4 Orchestra 1 seats, about 7 rows from the front! I couldn't believe it. Meanwhile I was working the mice on ticketmaster.com and also lucked out there with 6 more pavilion tickets in the 300 section.
I was so psyched, I could hardly contian myself... I'll be treating my parents and some other non-buffett-farmiliar family to the show this year!

I am new at the ticketmaster online scene, but I was waiting at my CPU at 9:30 and as soon as the tickets went on sale I had all my information previously registered, and I STILL got shut out of tickets. I wasn't even asking for best available, but rather for lawn seats, and still not love. I'm hoping through buffettnews.com that I might be able to score some tickets.
