I have pleanty of temptation to get a new car but it isn't overwhelming. Mrs. Alan11 takes care of that, nothing ends my temptation more than a redheaded irish redneck threatening to kick my ass if I come home with one. 8)

LOL
Y'know, since you visited last fall, it hasn't stopped raining out here.
It's been the wettest winter in S.D. recorded history. More rain than Seattle has gotten.
Most snow in our mountains too.

We've decided that it has been easiest to blame (credit) you for bringing East Coast bad weather mojo with you out here!

Congrats on the new car. I've never owned a Honda but everyone I know who ever had one raves about them. Good luck. BTW, $15/day for gas? I think I spend about $25-$30/month. That's the only good thing about commuting on the Long Island Railroad.

That much? I kind of thought you'd only bought gas once this year! Are you even up to 600 miles for this year yet?

Gas is about $2.25/gallon on LI so it doesn't take much to spend $30/month. And yes, I've made it to 600 miles for the year. I've been up to Connecticut to see my sister twice this year and it's a 200 mile round trip.

well habits are hard to break and as I thought I ended up at the gas station this morning...  I filled my tank and am loving the fact that I only used a 1/4 of a tank to get to and from work... I gotta say though... driving in rush hour traffic with a small car is vey scary :o not used to not being able to see several cars in front of me... and people don't get out of your way :x  and wow talk about being low to the ground!

when I was a teenager I had an 85 Honda Civic.
I put homemade ground effects on it made from raingutters and torched/heated the springs to make it a lowrider.
Ripped out the back seats and put 12 inch Pyledrivers in the back.
Even had a euro tag on the front that read "LOW AND BEHOLD".
Then me and my friends would roll through town blasting Eazy E, yelling at girls, and thinking we were cool. Aaahhhh those were the days

Congrats on the new Honda :D I love them, just turned 200,000 miles on my 98 Accord and it still runs like new. I put 240,000 on my 92 Accord before I sold it and it still ran great.

As other have already stated and I agree... can't go wrong with a Honda! I love my Accord.
