What is your favourite "power song" - you know , that song that you belt out singing in the car, not giving a toss what anyone around you thinks and it really gets the lungs going and the car windows nearly breaking?
Mine is Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart ....
Followed closely by a couple of Meatloaf numbers.

Shooting Star--Bad Company
BEG--Van Morrison or Jimmy
Drift Away--Dobie Gray
Maggie May--Rod Stewart
Wild World--Cat Stevens
Sweet Home Alabama--Lynard Skynyrd
God Bless the USA--Lee Greenwood
The Angry American--Toby Keith
Come Sail Away--Styx
Oh heck, I might as well admit it...I sing everything loud, I just love music. Hopefully I will actually be a singer in my next life....

Oh, duh..... how could I leave off these two??
driving past NYC in Nov 01, right after I was recalled to active duty, looking over where I *used* to see the towers, listening to Lee Greenwood.... I'm not the biggest or strongest person in the world, but in that moment all I would have needed was my bare hands to rid the world of Usama bin Laden, if I could have gotten hold of him.....

Go, Kath! We'd probably pull up beside each other at a red light and be singing at the tops of our lungs and know all the words to each other's songs!!!!!!

And I thought of you and me driving on Highway 29 in Napa singing The Angry American at the top of our lungs with the windows down...
And I gladly would have helped you get rid of that evil bastard...as would everyone else here, I'm sure.
