How Is Your Easter?

It looks like I've been on the board all afternoon. Yes, I am lonely. I went to church this morning,and then talked to my kids in LA, who tried to talk me into flying there spur of the moment. Opened a bottle of champagne (JP and I always did), and ended up quite drunk. So ... that's my Easter so far. It will probably get better, as my daughter and I will head out to a local restaurant for some Ca/vietnam cuisine.

Went to Brunch with Family.. Took a nap and Am posting on BN

Dinner will be put on in a bit..

My easter is OVER!

I am on the last day of a four day weekend and have TOTALLY done heaps of NOTHING - which is what I had planned!

Might be time for a little retail therapy today tho!

I know this has to be a very difficult day for you.

I hope it helps at least a little that you're in our thoughts and prayers, and I hope that in time the pain of losing JP lessens at least a little.

I hope your day improves at least a little, and that you have a nice dinner out with your daughter.

Typical family holidays, by the end I'm ready to go because I'm irritated with certain family members, but all in all I was glad I got to see everybody again and wish I could see some of them more often.

We both have the stomach flu . . . so on Connie's advice, Easter dinner was BRAT (bananas, rice, applesauce and tea)!

Hope the morning brought you some sunshine.....and no champagne hangover.

It was my first Easter without my Mom, so a very different version, but similar pain......

We'll get through it one day, one step, one holiday at a time....
