Yes, I am!!
Good idea - Boise is getting BIG, and we need to tend to the logistics, or surely they will be the end of us.
Will you be near a landmark/bus/tall palm/slide/jello shot booth, so I can find you??
I will initially be wearing my cheeseburger hat so as to blend in with the surroundings. Just ordered 1000 parrot temporary tattoos, so I'll be in the middle of all the women removing articles of clothing so they can place the tattoo where others will want to...oh, let's not go there right now!

Try this place it's pretty good. There is usually a bunch of Parrotheads staying there for the week. I'm booked there Sun to Thurs. Should be a swell time.

I'm debating on getting a hotel... I live an hour and a half away so it would probably be wise but $$ may be a factor...

Not sure... I'll be arriving by cab so I'll just kinda be strolling from place to place.... I'll be wherever I find BNers....

When I went to GW in 2002 I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield, it's about 5 minutes from the venue.

we always stay in a hotel. getting out of the parking lot can take forever. the last couple of years we go back to the car, lite up the grill and start cooking again. it's better than waiting so long to exit and having to make the hour + drive home.
trying to get a room at the holiday inn mansfield is a joke. it is almost always booked right after the tix's go on sale. it's way over priced and a real dive.
this year i booked at the farfield inn and at hampton inn. the rates at these two are about 95/nt.
i think no matter where you go there are ph's to be found.
see ya there!

The red roof inn is usually a good place. Typically the party starts in the Hotel parking lot the night before then everyone caravans in the morning to GW. You can't miss the convoy! Getting a room my be tough. I have reservations right now for Sun - Thurs that I "may" not be using. If anyone (BN'r) gets in a bind with a room, pm me. I think I'm taking my RV down and am going to stay at a nearby campground, hence i may not need my reservation. Rooms are running $110per night.

I'll be @ the Red Roof Inn too on Wednesday! Great place very close to the concert, but difficult to get reservations. We stay there every year though, usually book rooms way earlier in the year. Might be kind of tough... the day I called before tickets went on sale the woman @ the desk said I was the fourth person in the hour to call and request those dates.

Is that the place next to the 99? I heard that place was pretty good but there is no bar there.

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn right around the corner from The Redroof. There is a nice bar and a swimming pool so I can drink, eat then go swimming and not wait 30 minutes.
