Looking for some advice. Thinking about bringing a travel trailer RV and staying fri/sat and sun night. Our group will be driving up from GA, this will allow us to spend all day sat and sun partying without worries. Any recommendations on where to park? Any tips or advice will be appreciated. THANKS.

Iam offering my 3 acre field to any concert go-ers that want to camp the weekend beginning friday. I offer primitive camping. due to the high response Iam getting the prime spots gone. but i still have plenty of spots left to accomadate any size bus or RV or 5th wheel, converted school bus, what have you. Coney and Riverbends lots are no overnight camping, no grilling policy, and NO TAILGATING policy if they enforce those rules this year. Iam only a 5 min walk from the venue. Come and stay the whole weekend with us! no campgrounds within a 30 min drive.

officially, that is?

I mean it's only 11 weeks away, you know....??????

OK, unofficially, the sock should be out by the end of this week... I hope I am not in trouble with Fins again. The forced public admission of love was too much for me the last time!

Can I buy you a drink at the BEGANnivesary party on August 20th?
We'll talk about our Parrot Head roots here in Cincinnati.
Heck, I bet I could get Johnny R. to even serenade ya!
Fins
Yes, I can do that.

I've never seen the Beach Bum Band, what have I been missing?
I know one thing ... Thank the Tikki gods for Phincinnati Parrottheads, because watching this dreadful Reds baseball team, I'm going to need a lot of tequila and calypso music come August.

You dont't want to miss Johnny and the guys. They are great.
We had them back in January here in Cincinnati at the Private Opening
of our Cheeseburger in Paradise. Unforgettable Night!

I listened to the show from Massachussetts last night and I must say, damn, Jimmy and the Coral Reefers sound as good as ever. I dug the "Tripping Billies" cover, and I'm quite thankful for a live version of "La Vie Dansante," even if it's the Reeferettes. Is it August yet? Can I make time go faster?

Ah... well, am still glowing from last nights show! The man was definately full of energy!
Also... have a crew heading out to the Cinn show!

Can't wait to meet up with some of you. Curious about the venue... did someone say no tailgating?! But I have to make my tonga juice!!!
Just curious on info as we'll also have a 'keet' with us (not mine, so will be able to run off on occasion throughout the weekend!!). The saturday night party sounds fab!
see you all in August!!

Yes, Tonga...officially no tailgating at R'bend. However, the lots for River Downs (right next door) and the sometimes-available lot across the street from River Downs is fine if it's not in glass. We have a club camp set up across from Sunlite Pool...directly across the street....w/c is also across from R'bend. R'bend, Coney, and River Downs are all sort of connected and all walking distance. Look for the green porta johns in the lot across from Coney's Sunlite Pool and you'll find us!
The Sat event is going to be awesome: Jim Morris and the Big Bamboo Band, Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band, and Grateful Parrot - our very OWN PH band...will all be playing. There's a buffet and silent auction...all to make $$ for Make A Wish Foundation. So email
cincyparithd@aol.com if you need more info.

What time do you suggest we get to whatever spot we want on Sunday?
CitCat: In the Coney lot across Kellogg where we set up, noon is almost too late. It's VERY small....and once your car is in...there's NO getting out.
And, btw, we are only PRAYING they will let us in the lot this year. It's never a guarantee. But there are others...one just a bit more west...like across the block from where we like to be...that is also a bit bigger. It's directly across from the GATES to Coney Island.
Say...if you are coming to the party Sat night you can scope out the parking lots for Sunday.

Has any1 have any news on the if they are going to let us use the big lot ? Also is there anything going on on Friday ? I need to know to know how mush Parrot P!$$ I should bring

Capn Flock....nothing oPHicial for Friday yet. If something comes up will keep you posted. There is LOTS happening in the city in general that same weekend. Go to
www.cincinnatiusa.com to chk it out.
As for big lot you mentioned....no word. Last yr they told us NO and then opened it that morning....so you can't PLAN on being in there...but you could chk it out last minute. I'd say it opened around noon or 1P. Prior to that time...it was sealed off w/ gates that were locked.
Hope you're planning to do our Sat Aug 20 event w/ Jim Morris, Johnny Russler, and Grateful Parrot...buffet dinner...all for Make A Wish Foundation.....Call 513-244-9747 for tix
