Yep. and if people asked why I was still wearing it, I told them I was part of a test group to see if it was possible to have too much fun in too short a time.Desdamona wrote:I wondered how long I should wear mine...RinglingRingling wrote: I know dear... Felt kind of odd taking it off after all those days.![]()
I must have been in the placebo group. "Too much fun" was never achieved.

200 to Orlando, then down to Ft. Myers, then take the shuttle across to KW. Gets in the whole Sunset/Sunrise sail thing the first day.OneParticualrHarbour wrote:we got our tickets from mpls to miami for 350 a piece. then we do the senic drive. we got our covertabile, now we are set !

its cheaper for us to fly and drive. the drive to key west is kind of a right of passage to the whole trip. kind of neat driving along the edge of the glades, then you get on the road thru the keys, then hit 7 mile bridge. nice trip, lots of fun things to see.

any and all info from someone who has made the run before would be appreciated. One of the Buckeye PHC officers either did last year, or will be doing it this year (but about three days before I am inbound, so not a lot of data available if the latter). Hopefully he will still be at Happy Hour when I get there after work tonightbalcony girls wrote:looks like Lorilovv will fly into Tampa and we'll drive over to Miami in the ragtop and pick up BG2 . .then cruise the Keys. . .via Alabama Jack's . .RinglingRingling wrote:200 to Orlando, then down to Ft. Looks like AJ's is not on the plan this year. There are plans for a Sunset Sail on Wednesday, so the plan-ahead part of me is saying, "be in KW early". (Of course, had the same plan last year, and it turned into a case of, "hmmm.. Denny's Latin Diner sounds good for breakfast. Looks like I built too much time into the schedule"photogal wrote:Hey we are flying into Miami and driving down the keys on Wednesday the 2nd........and you MUST stop at Alabama Jacks right when you get on the Keys. It would be great to hook up with anyone going on Wednesday anytime!!

I agree, If you fly in for MOTM land in Miami or FLL and DRIVE through the Keys. It is worth it. AND you have to stop in at Alabama Jacks on Card Sound Rd, just after you leave Florida City, Fl.photogal wrote:........and you MUST stop at Alabama Jacks right when you get on the Keys. Who's gonna be the getaway vehicle when you guys re-enact the Peanut Butter Conspiracy at Fausto's on White Street?ragtopW wrote:Sidew13 wrote:I agree, If you fly in for MOTM land in Miami or FLL and DRIVE through the Keys.
