Any wallpaper experts among us? I'm hanging it in my camper, and can't get the seams to stay down. They're not lifting alot, just enough to make it noticable. Any tips/hints/secrets to getting a nice flat seam?

BTW - the paper is the pre-pasted kind that you just soak in water.

Something like a camper may require the adhesive for "high humidity" areas. There is a special paste you use for bathroom areas to handle the change in temperature.

I'm just guessing that the wall in your camper is exposed to the exterior and thus there would be a large temperature difference.

Ok, I'm measuring and cutting wallpaper, Christine is hanging it. I enjoyed laying the new carpet, and am looking forward to the new flooring and countertop, but I HATE stuff like wallpapering and painting...luckily she enjoys that stuff.

First he has laid carpet and now he's going for hardwood. You do like variety, don't you?

You probably need to use paste, too.
The pre-pasted paper doesn't always hold as well as it should.

Frankie + Wallpaper!! YAY!!!!

If you would like a large, arching mirror for your camper...I'll send it your way!!!

What kind of wallpaper? Did Christine pick out bunnies or chickens? Is this a card-exchanging occasion?

You all KNOW how I love to remodel.

Wallpaper hardly ever stays in campers because of the inside/outside temp thing and how quick they cool off once you turn the inside heat off.

I had a million jokes on this one, but decided to be kind. Sometimes you make it too easy.

What's stopping you, nobody around to help you spell the big words?

THey make paste that is for vinyl to vinyl applications. You probably over lapped the seams a bit. Buy some of that and use it where the seams are sticking up.

I think Shane has some of that in his girlfriend's first aid kit.

In most cases you would be right. But in the case of Rednekk my wife gives me all the free passes I want.
