Being a Canadian (!), which I know is the next worse thing to being a Yankee, I have to ask . . . do people REALLY eat pork rinds? What with? What can they be compared to that I might know of???

I've never actually had a pork rind, but they are sorta like
greasy, flavored, crunchy, styrofoam packing peanuts...

they are what they say they are. They're the skin of the pig fried. And they are great with Tobasco sauce when you've got a bad case of the munchies!!

Even though it's, umm, shocking when you read the ingredients, I would absolutely kill for some Hot and Spicy pork rinds right now!!! It's hard to believe skin can be so light, puffy, and airy! I always wonder who these people that say "hey, let's fry up some pig skin with preservatives and eat it!" Or pigs feet or cows tongues for that matter.
(ok - just talked myself outta the pork rinds)
